Abstract:
Die Erfindung betrifft Phenylengruppen-haltige Organosilane der Formel in der jeweils alle 3 denkbaren Isomeren in bezug auf die Stellung der R ?Si-R¹-Substituenten nebeneinander vorliegen können, R¹ für -CH2-CH2- oder CH3CH ? stehen und R² für Chlorid oder einen Alkoxirest steht. Weitere Gegenstände der Erfindung sind Verfahren zur Gewinnung der Organosilane sowie die Verwendung dieser Stoffe zur Herstellung der entsprechenden Organopolysiloxane.

Silicon-aluminum mixed oxide powder which is flamehydrolytically produced and has a composition of 65 to 85% by weight Al2O3, remainder SiO2 and an amorphous structure, in which each primary particle contains components of SiO2 and of Al2O3, the primary particles are between 7 and 80 nm, preferably 10 and 40 nm in size and the specific surface of the powder is between 20 and 200 m2/g. The powder is used for the production of mullite and sintered compacts manufactured from it.

Spherical, polymeric organosiloxane ammonium compounds are disclosed with a silica-like skeleton consisting of: (I) units in which R1 and R2 stand for a group (II) in which R5 is alkylene the oxygen atoms are saturated by silicon atoms of other groups (II) with the optional inclusion of cross-linking agents, R3 has the meaning of R1 and R2 or stands for hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl or benzyl, R4 is hydrogen or alkyl, cycloalkyl, benzyl, allyl, propargyl, chloroethyl, hydroxyethyl or chloropropyl, X stands for a monovalent to trivalent anion of a protonic acid which forms stable salts with amine bases and x can be a number from 1 to 3.

Grey-black inclusion pigments are obtained by enclosing iron titanates of the formula FeTiO3 in zirconium silicate crystals. They are prepared by igniting a mixture of zirconium oxide having a particle size distribution of 6 to 10 mu m and a specific surface area of 2 to 5.2 m /g, silica and iron oxides and titanium oxides or iron compounds and titanium compounds forming oxides in the presence of mineralisers under oxidising conditions at 800 to 1300 DEG C.
