PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform movement control over a display area to a display image set outside a display screen by a touch operation using a touch panel in a general environment such as a desktop screen of an OS.SOLUTION: A data processing device equipped with a touch panel unit 100 includes an operation event detection part 12 which detects operations to move a cursor to an operation area set on an input surface of the touch panel and to further move the cursor within the operation area among input operations on the touch panel unit 100; a cursor movement information generation part 13 which generates movement information for moving the cursor positioned at a peripheral edge of the display screen to a direction, determined according to the movement direction of the cursor in a detected operation, outward on the display screen according to the movement direction of the cursor; a cursor operation control part 14 which moves the position of the cursor on the display image based upon the generated movement information; and a virtual screen control part 15 which scrolls display contents of the display screen according to the movement of the cursor.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a sense of unity of operation and an image display, and to further efficiently impart information by the image display to an operator. SOLUTION: This information processor is provided with a means (Steps S41 to S45, S48 and S49) for determining whether or not a prescribed period has passed by continuing coordinate input as substantially inputting the same coordinates after starting input of optional coordinates by a coordinate input means, a means (Step S50) for executing first processing on the basis of the optional coordinates when determination is negative, and a means (Steps S41, S42 and S47) for executing second processing different from the first processing when the determination is affirmative. The second processing (Step S47) includes processing for displaying a successively changing image in response to a successive change with every prescribed period of input coordinates on condition of continuing input of any coordinate after the prescribed period passes. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly operate an input/output device performing bus master transfer. SOLUTION: This program controls an execution mode of a central processor. The central processor has a plurality of execution modes each having the kind of a process capable of being executed and power consumption, different from each other. The program makes an information processor function as: a restoration time acquisition part acquiring a restoration time that is a time required until the central processor restores to a high power mode from a low power mode; an allowed time acquisition part acquiring a longest allowed time until the central processor restores to the high power mode and starts the process after the input/output device of the information processor requires the process processable in the high power mode and unprocessable in the low power mode to the central processor; and an execution mode setting part setting the central processor to be in a transferable state to the low power mode when deciding that the central processor is transferable to the low power mode on the basis of the allowed time and the restoration time. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a user to precisely recognize a double-click operation using respective input devices, when a computer can possess the multiple input devices. SOLUTION: A computer system 10 is provided with an operating system(OS) for managing the input/output of the computer, a device driver such as a touch panel device driver 31 which is arranged at every input device such as a touch panel 14 and acts as a bridge between the input device and OS, and a registry such as a touch panel setting registry 26 for holding recognition information recognized as double clicks at each input device, apart from double-click recognition information which is set for OS. The device driver recognizes the continuous click operation by the input device as the double clicks, based on recognition information held by the registry and emulates a motion with which OS can recognize as being double clicks.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to specify the sort of a keyboard necessary for generating an on-screen keyboard by a simple operation, without requiring user's knowledge and decision with regard to the sort of the keyboard. SOLUTION: A computer system that requires inputting a password is equipped with an on-screen keyboard part 20 that displays an on-screen keyboard 210 with a specified key layout on the touch panel 200, a keyboard type distinguishing part 10 that determines the key layout of the on-screen keyboard 210 and a password checking part 40 that processes the password inputted by pointing at the on-screen keyboard 210 displayed on the touch panel 200.

SOLUTION: This data processor provided with a touch panel unit 100 as an input means is provided with an operation event detection part 12 for detecting previously set operation, which is distinguished from normal input, among inputs to this unit 100 when this operation is carried out, a cursor moving information generating part 13 for generating moving information for moving a cursor positioned at the periphery of the display screen toward the outside of the display screen in accordance with the kind of detected operation, a cursor operation control part 14 for moving the position of the cursor on the displayed picture based on the generated moving information and a virtual picture control part 15 for scrolling the displayed contents of the display screen in accordance with moving of this cursor.
