Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that by effecting energization and non-energization of a partitioning part for a part sectioned into different temperature zones at the same timing, though a low temperature section is cooled, at a high temperature section, both heaters for prevention of vapor condensation are energized, and accordingly an excessive chamber load is exerted on a partitioning part, cooling capacity is lowered, and a consumption power amount is increased. SOLUTION: In a method for energizing a plurality of heaters 12 and 14 for prevention of vapor condensation consisting of a refrigerator casing 1 having a high temperature first section and a low temperature second section, and a partition part for the sections and partition parts 11 and 13 for one door and the other door, means to detect the cooling states of the respective sections by various means are established at a control device 18 to be capable of controlling energization of the heaters 12 and 14 for prevention of vapor condensation independently at the respective sections and an energization deciding means therefor. By independently fluctuating the prevention of vapor condensation heater energizing factors of the partition parts 11 and 13 according to an operation state, prevention of vapor condensation is practicable through consumption of reduced energy.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breaker of home electric wiring from tripping by driving one of freezer compressor or refrigerator compressor with a DC power supply and the other with a commercial power supply thereby preventing an undue overcurrent from flowing through a freezer refrigerator at the time of simultaneous start. SOLUTION: A compressor 3 being driven with a DC power supply is employed for a freezer and a compressor 4 being driven with a commercial power supply, is employed for a refrigerator. A current about ten times as high as steady current flows into the compressor 4 for refrigerator at the time of starting but the compressor 3 for freezer can be started without requiring an undue overcurrent. Consequently, even when two compressors 3, 4 are started simultaneously, starting current for the freezer refrigerator is substantially equal to the starting current of the compressor being driven with the commercial power supply. Since an undue overcurrent does not flow through the freezer refrigerator at the time of starting, possibility of tripping the breaker of home electric wiring can be reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure condensation capacity even when an article is placed on a refrigerator, while protecting a fan against intrusion of water through a top plate, by making air vents in the inclining parts provided on the front and rear surfaces of a box, installing the fan closely to the inclining part and opening the air vent to the inclining part in the vicinity of the fan. SOLUTION: Outer air is sucked through an air vent 16 by means of a fan 13 and blown to a condenser 12 in order to radiate heat therefrom and then the passed air is discharged through an air vent 15. Condensation capacity can be ensured even if an article is placed on the top surface of a refrigerator because the air vent 15, 16 is provided with an inclining part and the air can be sucked and discharged. When the air vent (air intake port) 16 is opened except the vertical upper projection face of the fan 13, the fan 13 is protected against being splashed with water when an article holding water, e.g. a kettle, is left on the top surface and water intrudes through the air vent 16 into the box 14 and the fan 13 can be protected against a matter intruding through the top surface of refrigerator.
