    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which is the multilayered conductor layer structure device having conductors formed of a conductor material which is low in resistance, is excellent in etching liquid resistance particularly for indium tin oxide and has the good adhesion to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:This device has the substrate 11, the 1st conductor layer 12 which is formed on this substrate and is made into electrodes and wirings, an insulating film 13 which covers this 1st conductor layer and substrate 11 and the 2nd conductor layer 14 which is formed on this insulating layer and consists of the indium tin oxide to be made into the electrodes or wirings. The 1st conductor layer 12 is formed of an alloy composed of aluminum and copper, gold, boron, bisumuth, cobalt, chromium, germanium, iron, molybdenum, niobium, nickel, palladium, platinum, tantalum, titanium, tungsten and/or silver.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a liquid crystal display device having high luminance while assuring auxiliary capacitors. CONSTITUTION:Liquid crystals 24 are inserted between a liquid crystal driving- circuit board 20 and a counter substrate 23. Anodically oxidized films 11b are formed on gate electrodes 11a elongated and formed from address wirings and address wirings on this liquid crystal driving circuit board 20 and anodically oxidized films 18b are formed on the auxiliary capacitance wirings 18. The thickness of the anodically oxidized film 18b is made smaller than the thickness of the anodically oxidized films 11b.

CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device has the plural address wirings 19 which are formed of a single layer of an Mo-W alloy on an insulating substrate 11, plural data wirings which form intersected parts via insulating films 13 on these address wirings 19, a display region which has plural pixel electrodes 18 arranged in each of these intersected parts, control electrodes 12 which are arranged adjacently to the intersected parts and are electrically connected to the address wirings 19 and plural switching elements which have first main electrodes 16a electrically connected to the data wirings and second main electrodes 16b electrically connected to the pixel electrodes.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify a process, prevent a defect in picture quality, and to improve the precision of a cell gap by forming a bump on a liquid crystal driving substrate except on a display electrode and using the bump as a spacer. CONSTITUTION:An active matrix substrate for liquid crystal driving is constituted by arranging an address electric conductor 102 and a data electric conductor 103 on an undercoated insulating substrate 101 and providing a picture element electrode nearby intersection of the electric conductors. On an opposite substrate, an auxiliary address electric conductor 12 is provided and the bump 11 is provided on the address electric conductor 102 to connect it. An opposite transparent electrode is formed except in the area wherein the active matrix substrate for liquid crystal driving and opposite substrate are connected by the bump 11. Namely, the bump 11 provided on the address electric conductor 102 serves as the spacer for forming a space wherein liquid crystal is charged and is used for electric conduction between the opposite substrate and active matrix substrate for liquid crystal driving so as to control the potential of the opposite display electrode 114.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which is increased in aperture ratio as compared with a substrate which is in conventional structure and provided with the same auxiliary capacity by providing auxiliary capacity for picture quality improvement for each picture element. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal display device is equipped with plural address electric conductors 11 formed on an insulating transparent substrate 10, plural data electric conductors 13 which are formed crossing the address electric conductors 11, display transparent electrodes 12 arranged in respective picture element areas surrounded with the address electric conductors 11 and data electric conductors 13, thin film transistors(TFT) which are provided adjacently to the intersection parts of the address electric conductors 11 and data electric conductors 13 and selectively connect the data electric conductors 13 and transparent electrodes 12 with voltages of gates 11a connected to the address electric conductors 11, and auxiliary capacitors provided for respective picture element areas; and each auxiliary capacitor is composed of the display transparent electrode 12 and auxiliary electrodes 11b and 13c provided above and below it across insulating films 21 and 22.
