Abstract: A light ranging system including a shaft having a longitudinal axis; a light ranging device configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the shaft, the light ranging device including a light source configured to transmit light pulses to objects in a surrounding environment, and detector circuitry configured to detect reflected portions of the light pulses that are reflected from the objects in the surrounding environment and to compute ranging data based on the reflected portion of the light pulses; a base subsystem that does not rotate about the shaft; and an optical communications subsystem configured to provide an optical communications channel between the base subsystem and the light ranging device, the optical communications subsystem including one or more turret optical communication components connected to the detector circuitry and one or more base optical communication components connected to the base subsystem.

Abstract: An electrical device according to the present invention has a case (1), a metallic heat sink plate (4) disposed an opening portion (OP) of the case and a circuit board (5) arranged on the heat sink plate. The heat sink plate (4) is interposed between a capacitor (2) and the circuit board (5) so that the circuit board (5) is separated from the capacitor (2) by not only the resinous case (1) but also the metallic heat sink plate (4). Thus, electromagnetic space noise generated from the capacitor (2) is shielded or reduced by the metallic heat sink plate (4) whereby a malfunction of the circuit board (5) is prevented from occurring due to electromagnetic space noise generated from the capacitor (2).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic device, and more specifically, to an electronic device including a printed circuit board including a heat-generating element arranged on one surface thereof, and a heat transfer coin provided such that one surface of the heat transfer coin comes into contact with a portion of the other surface of the printed circuit board, opposite to the heat-generating element, so as to dissipate heat generated from the heat-generating element. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides an advantage of improving heat dissipation performance without increasing the thickness of the printed circuit board.

Abstract: Technologies are described for rigid mounting connectors to connect a monitoring device to a piece of equipment. The rigid mounting connectors may comprise abase and a column. The column may be tubular in shape and include a bolt opening configured to receive a threaded end of a bolt. The base may extend axially from and be attached to outside walls of the column. A length of the column may be perpendicular to the base and the column may be at a center of the base. The base may include cylinders positioned on a circle concentric to a center of the bolt opening. Each screw channel may be configured to receive a screw to fasten at least one printed circuit board assembly to a top side of the base. The base may include footings which may protrude out from a bottom side of each cylinder.

Abstract: A pressing device includes a screw body. The screw body includes a screw head that comprises a driver interface. The screw body also includes a screw shaft that comprises a screw tip opposite the screw head with respect to the screw shaft, exterior spiral threads between the screw head and screw tip, and an interior cavity with an opening at the screw tip. The pressing device also includes a pin partially inserted into the interior cavity. The pin comprises a first pin end inserted into the interior cavity, a pin shaft that is connected to the first pin end, and a second pin end that is connected to the pin shaft and that is exterior to the interior cavity. Applying a force to the second pin end in a direction towards the screw head causes the pin shaft to advance into to interior cavity.
