Abstract: In various embodiments, provided herein are systems, methods, processes, and devices for providing locomotive rehabilitation to a subject via one or more gait motions that substantially accurately mimic motions performed in healthy, natural gait cycles. The system may mimic natural gait motions via footplates and handles, and one or more linkage systems. In particular embodiments, the system may further include a motor unit and/or clutch for providing controlled forces assisting or resisting motions of a linkage system. Further, the system may include a tower for operating in a standing or seated position. In at least one embodiment, the system includes a body weight support system that provides offloading forces to a subject.

Abstract: A gait motion assisting apparatus of the present invention can be connected to a knee-ankle-foot orthosis at three different positions in a vertical direction by upper, intermediate and lower connecting mechanisms. The intermediate connecting mechanism includes a ball stud arranged at the knee-ankle-foot orthosis extending outward in the user width direction on a brace-side pivot axis line X and an accommodation depression opened toward the knee-ankle-foot orthosis on the actuator-side pivot axis line Y so that the ball stud can be inserted thereinto. The accommodation depression is arranged at an innermost power-transmitting member among a driving arm and components of a transmission mechanism operatively transmitting rotational power from an electric motor to the driving arm.

Abstract: An intelligent massage chair is provided. The chair includes a chair frame and armrests connected on left and right sides of the chair frame. Abstract: An example of a system for providing emergency care to a patient includes an automated chest compression device configured to engage the patient at the patient's sternum to provide multiple chest compression cycles to the patient's sternum, an automated mechanical ventilation device to induce negative pressure ventilation, and a controller operably coupled to the automated chest compression device and the automated mechanical ventilation device and including one or more processors configured to control the automated chest compression device to cyclically perform chest compressions, and control the automated mechanical ventilation device to cyclically induce the negative pressure ventilation out-of-phase with the chest compressions such that the automated mechanical ventilation device cyclically induces the negative pressure ventilation prior to each compression of the patient's sternum.

Abstract: In certain example embodiments, provided is a compact massager, comprising: (1) one or more massage head attachment portions; and (2) a massager body, wherein the massager body is configured to connect with the one or more massage head attachment portions at the front body side, the massager body further comprises: (i) a motor; (ii) a PCBA; (iii) a display; (iv) a power source; wherein the power source is configured to electrically connect with the motor, the PCBA and the display; (v) a Z-shaped, transmission crank, configured to translate rotary motion from the motor to reciprocating motion of the one or more massage head attachment portions; and (vi) a counterweight, having an eccentric cam, an input shaft and an output shaft, wherein the input shaft is disposed at one side of the cam and is operatively connected to the motor, and an output shaft is disposed at an opposing side of the cam and is operatively connected to the transmission crank. In certain example embodiments, the compact massager provides comparable or even stronger or deeper massage despite the size being relatively smaller and the noise level is reduced.

Abstract: A device for rehabilitation of the upper limb includes a frame and an exoskeleton mounted on the frame. The exoskeleton has a first joint coupled to the frame, a first L-shaped connector connecting the first joint to a second joint, a second L-shaped connector connecting the second joint to a third joint, and an attaching member attaching an upper limb of a human subject to the exoskeleton. The first joint is situated above a shoulder of the human subject and has a first axis of rotation substantially coinciding with the horizontal abduction/adduction rotation axis of the shoulder. The second joint is situated behind the shoulder and has a second axis of rotation coinciding with the abduction/adduction rotation axis of the shoulder. The third joint is situated at the side of the shoulder and has a third axis of rotation substantially coinciding with the flexion/extension rotation axis of the shoulder.
