Abstract:
Examples of a motion system are disclosed. The motion system comprises a plurality of Stewart platform based actuators connected one to each another forming a desired modular configuration. Each of the plurality of actuators is controlled by a central controller that is configured to independently control the plurality actuators and adjust in real time their position, orientation and motion trajectory. The plurality of actuators are arranged in the desired configuration, shape and size to provide motion system that can mimic a natural motion/gait of human or animal body.

Abstract:
A CPR system includes a retention structure to retain the patient's body, and a compression mechanism to perform CPR compressions to the patient's chest. The CPR system further includes a processor to control the compression mechanism, and thus the performance of the CPR compressions. In embodiments, the CPR system compresses at a rate or frequency that is purposely sub-optimal for circulation at least some of the time, and especially when it is detected that the patient has regained consciousness. An advantage can be that the patient may thus faint again, and therefore perceive less of the unpleasant experience of the mechanical chest compressions that the CPR system continues to perform on them as it preserves them alive.
Abstract:
An exoskeleton includes a control system which incorporates a feedback system used to establish and communicate orthosis operational information to a physical therapist and/or to an exoskeleton user. The feedback system can take various forms, including employing sensors to establish a feedback ready value and communicating the value through one or more light sources which can be in close proximity to joints of the exoskeleton joints.
Abstract:
The treatment device for hemiplegia comprises a robot which is putted on the hemiplegic side of the body of a subject; a motion measurement unit for measuring the motion of the healthy side of the body of the subject; and a control which is connected with the robot and the motion measurement unit, wherein the control unit is configured to receive the healthy side's motion measured by the motion measurement unit and to control the robot, whereby the hemiplegic side having the robot put thereon moves in accordance with the motion of the healthy side of the body.
Abstract:
A device for assessing and display of a difference in vectors of forces exercised by a pair of arms or legs of exercising persons, e. g. patients suffering from a damage of the musculoskeletal or nervous system or sportsmen comprises a housing (1) with preferably two means (2) for a participation with a pair of limbs—arms or legs, wherein the means (2) are designed in various ways with the purpose to allow proper participation with the treated pair of limbs in an individual exercise, and are arranged on bearings (3) within the housing (1), further comprising a microcontroller (8) and optionally a computer (13), the Internet (14) for connection to an expert centre (15). Each means (2) is connected with a means (4) for the measurement of forces (F). The device of the invention further includes an accelerometer (5), a gyroscope (6) and a magnetometer (7) for the determination of its position and orientation in space, wherein all data from said means (4), said accelerometer (5), said gyroscope (6) and magnetometer (7) are gathered by said microcontroller (8) that evaluates them with models and algorithms, and said data are continuously displayed on a display (9), a monitor or a TV screen, notifying the exercising person on the exercising status and suggesting next steps.
