Abstract:
A user terminal 1, which is communicably connected to a server device 2 via a network 9, includes: an information acquisition unit 101 that acquires terminal information including a terminal ID of the user terminal 1, and acquires peripheral device information including a device type and a serial number of a peripheral device 3 connected to the user terminal 1 via an interface 15 for peripheral device connection, which is different from a network interface 16 connected to the network 9; and a transmission/reception unit 102 that transmits the terminal information and the peripheral device information to the server device 2.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal improved in operability concerning fax transmission. A CPU of the mobile terminal sets information indicative of a fax transmission destination, sets reading and transmission information concerning fax transmission and original reading, and sends a request for fax transmission, to an image forming apparatus. When a response notifying capability of fax transmission is received from the apparatus, the CPU causes a message for prompting a user to set an original, to be displayed on a display section. When the original has been set and an instruction for fax transmission from the user is received, the CPU sends an instruction for reading the original and executing fax transmission, together with the transmission destination information, and the reading and transmission information, to the apparatus. The CPU causes a result of fax transmission by the apparatus to be displayed on the display section.
Abstract:
A server selecting apparatus which is configured to communicate with at least one image processing apparatus includes: a communication unit configured to communicate with the at least one image processing apparatus; and a control device. The control device is configured to: acquire, via the communication unit, specific function information as to whether the at least one image processing apparatus is capable of executing the processing of a specific function which is a specific image processing function; identify at least one specific-function executable apparatus which is capable of executing the processing of the specific function from among the at least one image processing apparatus, based on the specific function information; and select one image processing apparatus as a specific server, which manages execution information of the specific function with respect to all of the at least one specific-function executable apparatus, from among the at least one specific-function executable apparatus.
Abstract:
An information processing system including at least one computer that is connected to an equipment unit via a network is disclosed. The information processing system includes a reception unit which receives data via the network; a data storage unit which stores the data; a first transmission unit which transmits, to the equipment unit, the data in response to a request for obtaining the data stored in the data storage unit from some equipment unit; a history information storage unit which stores history information on transmission of the data by the first transmission unit and on reception of the data by the reception unit; a projection unit which projects a first equipment unit which transmits the obtaining request on first data in response to the reception of the first data by the reception unit; and a second transmission unit which transmits information on the first data to the first equipment unit.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide an image processing method, an image processing apparatus, and an electronic device. The image processing method includes: generating an image of an object by shooting the object with an image generation element; acquiring information of a shooter when the object is shot; and merging the information of the shooter into the image of the object to generate an image having the information of the shooter and information of the object. Through the embodiments of the present application, not only the information of the shooter and the object can be acquired, but also repetitive operations such as the user authentication can be reduced, thereby achieving better user experience.
Abstract:
A document management apparatus delivers a to-be-delivered document to a delivery destination and collects information about browsing history of the document. The document management apparatus includes: a delivery-pattern determining unit; a delivery-information generating unit; a document delivery unit that delivers the document by transmitting the information of the delivery pattern to a network address of the delivery destination; and a browsing-history management unit that acquires information about browsing history. The delivery-pattern determining unit, when the type of the device is a type not adapted to a function of collecting information about browsing history, determines that a pattern for delivering a program for implementing collection of the information about browsing history together with the document as the delivery pattern. Otherwise, the delivery-information generating unit generates associating information that associates the document with the program such that the program is to be executed when the document is browsed.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus for executing an application constituted by one or more program modules, includes a license target identification information generating unit configured to generate license target identification information used for identifying which of the program modules are targets of license management, and to store the license target identification information in a storage device, wherein the license target identification information is generated based on one or more program module information items each being associated with one of the program modules to indicate whether the corresponding program module is a target of license management; and a license determination unit configured to determine, in response to an input of a usage request to use the application, whether a license is present, wherein the determination is made only for one or more of the program modules identified as being the targets of license management based on the license target identification information.
Abstract:
An image-processing system comprising a peripheral device 10, a web server 12 associated with the peripheral device 10 an application server 13 and a mobile phone 11. The web server 12 is configured to send a registration request to register communication parameters of the peripheral device 10 in association with a piece of identification information at the application server 13. The mobile device 11 is configured to determine the piece of identification information and to send a request to the application server 13 with the determined piece of identification information. The application server 13 is configured to associate the registered details of the peripheral device 10 with the request from the mobile device 11 thereby allowing a connection to be configured between the mobile device 11 and the peripheral device 10.
Abstract:
A photographing apparatus capable of performing communication with an external apparatus and a method of controlling the photographing apparatus. The photographing apparatus can communicate with an external apparatus and store data received from the external apparatus together with a photographed image, even while photographing the image. Additionally, the data received from the external apparatus can be stored in a form of metadata to connect data to the image, and thus it is possible to play back the data received from the external apparatus in a more lifelike manner.
Abstract:
A network scanner for transmitting image data as read from a document, which has been stored in a predetermined memory includes: a transmission part specifying means for specifying a part of the image data to be transmitted to said terminal(s); and specified data transmission means for transmitting the part of the image data as specified by the transmission part specifying means to the terminal(s). According to the foregoing structure, the load on communicating can be significantly reduced.
