Abstract: An assist device includes a first worn component worn on at least one of a shoulder and a chest of a user, a second worn component worn on one of a hip and a pair of right and left legs of the user, a belt member provided along a back side of the user over the first worn component and the second worn component, an actuator provided on one of the first worn component and the second worn component, a position detection unit configured to obtain a position parameter indicating a position of the user, and a controller configured to obtain a required output in a direction to wind up the belt member from the actuator based on the position parameter and configured to control operation of the actuator.

Abstract: A creeping motion therapy device promotes proper crawling and includes a motor coupled to a frame. Each of a right paddle and a left paddle are coupled to and slidable relative to the frame. Right and left leg supports are also coupled to and slidable relative to the frame. A linkage assembly is mechanically coupled to a main flywheel assembly mechanically coupled to the motor. Each of the right paddle, the left paddle, the right leg support, and the left leg support is mechanically coupled to the linkage assembly such that the right paddle and the left leg support move alternately backward and forward in unison and the left paddle and the right leg support move in unison in opposite to the right paddle and the left leg support wherein the right paddle, left paddle, right leg support, and left leg support mimic a creeping motion.

An infinitely adjustable, integrated ankle-foot orthotic system increases the range of sizes a wearable robotic device will fit. A manually-removable hip-wing attachment system makes field changes easier, and protecting such a system from inadvertent disengagement during operation increases safety.

Abstract: In device for placing a toe of a patient's foot in traction may broadly include a shoe portion (e.g., a sole, counter, and strap(s)); a toe attachment apparatus (e.g., a Chinese finger trap) having a cable extending therefrom; a pulley, with the cable wrapped about the pulley; and an apparatus (e.g., a ratchet, an actuator, and the like) configured to apply tension to the cable to create traction in the toe. A second actuator may adjust lateral positioning of the pulley relative to the shoe portion to set a desired angle of adduction for the traction provided to the toe by the cable. A meter may be coupled to the cable to indicate an amount of tension provided thereto. Another actuator may adjust elevational positioning of the pulley relative to the shoe portion to set a desired angle of dorsiflexion for the traction provided to the toe by the cable.

Abstract: Exercise robot suitable for rehabilitation and methods of its operation are provided. In particular a method in which the exercise robot learns an exercise movement on the basis of movements conducted by the aid of a human assistant holding the leg of a patient and moving the leg with muscular form to conduct an exercise movement. The rehabilitation robot actively accompanies the exercise movement in an active compliance mode and records the movement so as to determine an exercise movement stored in the control unit of the device. The rehabilitation robot can then produce the determined exercise in an exercise mode.

Abstract: A penis massager includes a housing, a massaging member and a driving apparatus. The massaging member includes a first sleeve and a second sleeve which are spaced apart. The first sleeve is positioned at a front side of the second sleeve. The first sleeve has an inner lumen penetrating two axial ends thereof to allow a head of the penis to extend through the first sleeve and enter into the second sleeve, and the second sleeve is rotatably disposed. The driving apparatus is disposed within the housing and in transmission connection with the massaging member. The driving apparatus can drive the first sleeve to linearly move in an axial direction along the penis inserted in the first sleeve, and driving the second sleeve to rotate relative to the housing.
