    Abstract: An information handling system may detect an exception, create a hand-off block in an NVMe boot partition in an NVMe device during a pre-extensible firmware interface phase of a boot process, and update the hand-off block with information associated with the exception. The system may also load an exception table to the NVMe boot partition, wherein the exception table includes an index associated with the exception that is mapped to a vector associated with an exception handler, and load the exception handler to the NVMe boot partition, wherein the exception handler resolves the exception.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for managing incremental data backups on an object store. A computing device receives first data representing a changed chunk of data in a revision of a data volume on a storage device, the changed chunk includes data having changes from previous data of a previous revision. The computing device creates a block of data representing a copy of the changed chunk on the object store, the object store also includes a previous revision block representing previous revision data. The computing device determines a previous index stored on the object store corresponding to the previous revision, which includes entries including at least one corresponding to the previous revision block. The computing device creates a copy of at least one previous index from the object store, and a revised index that updates the corresponding entry with updated entry data representing the change block.

    Abstract: In some examples, a power adapter for sharing redundant power comprises a primary power input; a redundant power input; a redundant power supply identification signal (RPS ID) input; and a controller coupled to the RPS ID input. The controller is to direct power from the primary power input to an electronic device; direct power from the redundant power input to the electronic device, to another power adapter, or both; modify an RPS ID from the RPS ID input in response to directing power from the redundant power input to the electronic device; and output the modified RPS ID to the another power adapter.

    Abstract: One example method includes creating an empty reconstruction stream database, identifying a data time interval, identifying data sources in which data was stored during the data time interval, reading data from the data sources, where the data read out from the data sources are associated with respective timestamps that fall within the data time interval, inserting the read out data into the empty reconstruction stream database so as to create a high resolution data stream, where the data are ordered in the empty reconstruction stream database according to timestamp, processing the data in the high resolution data stream and, based on the processing of the data, identifying and resolving a problem relating to an operating environment in which the data was initially generated.
