    Abstract: The invention generally relates to systems and method for deep learning driven adaptive optics for single molecule localization microscopy. In certain aspects, the invention provides a system comprising: an imaging apparatus configured for conducting single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM), wherein the imaging apparatus comprises a deformable mirror and a dynamic filter; and a processor operably associated with the imaging apparatus. In certain embodiments, the processor is configured to: monitor individual emission patterns produced via the imaging apparatus from a plurality of different single molecules in a sample; infer shared wavefront distortion for each of the individual emission patterns; provide the shared wavefront distortion for each of the individual emission patterns through the dynamic filter; and operate the deformable mirror to compensate for sample induced aberrations.

    Abstract: A method of producing metallic sodium powders. The method includes immersing one or more solid pieces of sodium metal in an organic liquid containing a hydrocarbon oil. The solid piece(s) of sodium metal immersed in the hydrocarbon oil is (are) then subjected to ultrasonic irradiation, wherein the solid piece of sodium metal is fragmented to form sodium powder, resulting in a dispersion of the sodium powder in the organic liquid. The dispersed sodium powder is then separated from the organic liquid, resulting in metallic sodium powder. A method of presodiation of an anode in an electrochemical cell.     Abstract: A wearable sensor decal may include a flexible wrapper layer, an intermediate layer, and a porous film layer. A first plurality of electrodes may be deposited on the wrapper layer. A heating element may be conductivity coupled to the first plurality of electrodes. A second plurality of electrodes may be deposited on the intermediate layer. A biosensor may be conductively coupled to the second plurality of electrodes. The flexible film may be hydrophilic to allow biofluids pass to the biosensor and the wrapper layer may be hydrophobic to provide waterproofing to the biosensor and heating element. The heating element may be powered to reduce thermal variance in biosensor measurements.

    Abstract: A method of forming an optical waveguide from a multi-layer material is described. The multi-layer material includes a resist material layer deposited over a waveguide material layer, and the waveguide material layer deposited over a first cladding material layer. The method includes using a lithography procedure to form a three-dimensional tapered indentation into a top surface of the resist material layer, transferring the three-dimensional tapered indentation from the resist material layer to the waveguide material layer, forming a three-dimensional tapered optical waveguide by removing a portion of the waveguide material layer adjacent to the three-dimensional tapered indentation, and depositing a second cladding material layer over the optical waveguide to form an optical coupler having an optical input facet.
