Abstract: A process for producing a catalyst, comprising the steps of modifying a carrier by a first impregnation with at least one alkaline earth metal in a first metal precursor solution, the first metal precursor being decomposed to form at least one metal oxide or metal hydroxide, thereby obtaining a modified carrier. A second impregnation is carried out by incipient wetness by a second precursor solution comprising at least one metal Me in a second solution. Finally, the second precursor is decomposed, thereby obtaining a catalyst body having an enrichment of the at least one metal Me in the outer shell of the catalyst body, the metal being present in a concentration having either as an egg-shell profile or a hammock profile.

Abstract: A system and a process for CO2 shift is provided. The system comprises a Reverse Water Gas Shift (RWGS) reactor, and a heat exchange reactor, HER. A first feed is converted in the RWGS reactor into a first product stream comprising CO. A second feed is arranged to be fed to a process side of the HER. At least a portion of the first product stream is arranged to be fed to a heating side of the HER such that heat from the first product stream is transferred to the process side of the HER, thereby allowing the conversion of the second feed to a second product stream comprising CO in the process side of the HER.

Abstract: A system is provided for reforming a hydrocarbon feedstock. The system comprises: first prereformer units and first preheating unit arranged upstream a bayonet tube steam methane reformer. The system is arranged to provide a temperature of the heated partially-reformed process stream at the inlet of the bayonet tube steam methane reformer of at least 600° C. and a temperature of the gas at the bottom of the bayonet steam methane reformer tubes of at least 800° C. This arrangement allows higher bayonet tube inlet temperatures, with reduced risk of increased metal dusting. A process is also provided for reforming a hydrocarbon feedstock in the system of the invention.

Abstract: Process and plant for producing hydrocarbon products from a solid renewable feed-stock, where in a thermal decomposition section such as a pyrolysis section for the treatment of the solid renewable feedstock, a pyrolysis off-gas stream and a pyrolysis oil stream are generated, and where after hydroprocessing of the pyrolysis oil in a hydroprocessing section, a hydrogen-rich stream and an off-gas stream comprising hydrocarbons are produced. A portion of the hydrogen-rich stream is used as a recycle gas stream in the hydroprocessing section for the production of said hydrocarbon products, such as naphtha and diesel, and another portion may be used for hydrogen production in a hydrogen producing unit, while the off-gas stream is used together with the pyrolysis off-stream in the hydrogen producing unit. The produced hydrogen, i.e. make-up hydrogen, is used in the hydroprocessing section.
