Abstract:
An assist wear item is worn on a portion of a living body and has an inner surface brought into contact with the portion. The assist wear item includes assisting actuators, contact sensors, and a controller. Each assisting actuator is driven to expand and contract. The assisting actuators are linearly arranged along an expansion/contraction direction of a muscle at the portion. Each contact sensor detects a contact with an outer surface of the assist wear item. If the controller receives a detection result indicating a first contact from a first contact sensor among the contact sensors and receives a detection result indicating a second contact from a second contact sensor within a first time period after reception of the detection result indicating the first contact, the controller increases or decreases a driving power of expansion/contraction driving of an assisting actuator corresponding to the second contact sensor.
Abstract:
A leg assembly includes a first leg member and second leg member each having side-to-side width that is greater at the top end than the bottom end and a tapered outer surface. The second leg member has top-to-bottom length different than the top-to-bottom length of the first leg member. The leg members are adapted to connect individually or in combination to a support system such that at least three leg heights are selectably provided. The side-to-side width of the top end of the second leg member is approximately equal to the side-to-side width of the bottom end of the first leg member such that when the top end of the second leg members is connected to the bottom end of the first leg member, the combined leg members have a generally continuously tapered outer surface.

A device for sexual stimulation includes: a support structure defining a centerline; a first vibratory actuator including a first motor, a first output shaft, and a first eccentric mass coupled to the first output shaft, the first vibratory actuator elastically coupled to the support structure opposite the first eccentric mass in a cantilever configuration; a second vibratory actuator including a second motor, a second output shaft, and a second eccentric mass coupled to the second output shaft, the second vibratory actuator elastically coupled to the support structure opposite the second eccentric mass in a cantilever configuration, the first vibratory actuator and the second vibratory actuator substantially parallel and arranged on opposing sides of the centerline; and a sheath including a first section arranged over the first vibratory actuator, a second section arranged over the second vibratory actuator, and a third section arranged over a portion of the support structure.
Abstract:
Described here are devices, systems, and methods for treating one or more conditions (such as dry eye) or improving ocular health by providing stimulation to nasal or sinus tissue. Generally, the devices may be handheld or implantable. In some variations, the handheld devices may have a stimulator body and a stimulator probe having one or more nasal insertion prongs. When the devices and systems are used to treat dry eye, nasal or sinus tissue may be stimulated to increase tear production, reduce the symptoms of dry eye, and/or improve ocular surface health.
Abstract:
A massage apparatus includes: a pump that is an air supply source; a motor that actuates a distributor; a power switch that optionally supplies power to the pump and the motor to actuate the pump and the motor; and a limit switch that is connected in parallel with the power switch, and is operated by a cam working with the distributor so as to be turned ON when the distributor assumes a position to supply air to any of bladders, and so as to be turned OFF when the distributor assumes a position to discharge air from at least any of the bladders.
Abstract:
The proposed method and devices provide for an effective improvement of the blood flow in the vessels of a human's extremities due to generation of an ante-grade pressure wave of blood synchronized with phases of the cardiac cycle with the help of compression impulses. The devices provide an improved accuracy of the time and amplitude characteristics of the compression impulses and functioning in modes of generation both the ante-grade wave and external counter-pulsation.
Abstract:
A noninvasive method of treating or preventing pressure ulcers is disclosed. The method includes placing a motorized pad about a subject, activating a plurality of motors positioned in the motorized pad each having an output shaft to thereby cause application of a rotational motion to each of the plurality of motor shafts, converting the rotational motion to a vibrational motion by using a corresponding unbalanced mass with each motor, applying the vibrational motion to a corresponding part of the subject, and damping any vibrational forces substantially parallel to an underlying skin surface more than vibrational forces substantially perpendicular to the underlying skin surface.

Devices, systems, and methods for promoting female sexual wellness and function. The devices, systems, and methods encourage clitoral engorgement using suction over the clitoris combined with vibratory stimulation
Abstract:
The present invention relates to massage assembly structured for mounting on a vertical supporting surface during a massaging procedure. The massage assembly includes an elongated housing mounted on the supporting surface in a substantially vertical orientation. A contact assembly is movably disposed on the housing and is operative to apply a massaging pressure to predetermined body portions of the user. A sensor assembly is disposed and structured to determine at least one area of engagement between the housing and the user's body. A drive assembly is connected in driving relation to the contact assembly. The sensor assembly is connected to the drive assembly and is operative to determine at least one area of application of the contact assembly on the predetermined body portion.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an automatic hair washing machine comprising a housing body formed with a top housing and a rear housing by integrally molding, the housing body is shaped like a head, and an annular extensible waterproof rim is provided along the edge of the housing body, a water spray hood is arranged in the housing body, the water spray hood is connected to the water inlet pipe, and there is also a shampoo reservoir in or out of the housing body, and a plurality of rotatably driven hollow massaging and rubbing fingers are arranged along the interior of the housing body. The automatic hair washing machine disclosed in the present invention can relieve nervous emotion for a user by spraying and massaging the user's hair to shampoo his hair by means of the water spay hood without lying supine or bending over the user during the whole hair washing process, and can ensure adequate comfort for him by massaging his acupuncture points such as his temple by means of the hollow massaging and rubbing fingers.
