Abstract:
A responsive cushion system includes a pressure adjustment system and a cushion formed by an array of bladders coupled to the pressure adjustment system. At least two of the bladders are independent from one another such that that each can be independently pressurized and depressurized by the pressure adjustment system. A processor is coupled to the pressure adjustment system and a user interface, and the processor is operable to select a target group of one or more bladders according to data received via a communication interface. The processor is further operable to control the pressure adjustment system to adjust pressurization of bladders outside the target group according to a first pressurization mode, and control the pressure adjustment system to concurrently adjust pressurization of the target group of bladders according to a second, different pressurization mode. At least one of the first and second pressurization modes dynamically changes pressure over time.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for resolving a person's sleep disorders by applying low frequency vibration to a part of the body, said method comprising the use of mechanical vibrators (1) present on a first side of a plate type base member (9) for setting the plate type base member (9) in vibration in such a way that is second surface transmits mechanical vibration, comprising a plurality of low frequency pulse trains (100) which are conducted to a part of the person's body. The successive pulse trains of mechanical vibration to be transmitted in the invention to a specific part of the body comprise both—a plurality of first successive pulse trains (100; 101, 102, 103 . . . ) transmitted at successive time periods (T; T1, T2, T3 . . . ) to said part of the body, wherein a frequency (f) of vibration in each individual pulse train (100) is maintained constant (f; fa, fb, fc . . . ) over the course of a duration (T; T1, T2, T3 . . . ) of said pulse train (100), said constant frequency being within the range of 20-50 Hz and the vibration at the same time being such that pressure pulses (400) of said pulse train (100) have a contact power (I) with said part of the body within the range of 40-70 dB, whereby the constant frequencies (fa, fb, fc . . . ) of the successive pulse trains (100; 101, 102, 103 . . . ) to be transmitted to the part of the body at the successive time periods (T; T1, T2, T3 . . . ) are mutually different and change monotonously and mostly linearly, and—at least one second pulse train (100) transmitted to said part of the body, wherein pressure pulses (400) contained in the pulse train (100) have a frequency (f) fluctuating within the range of 20-50 Hz, preferably within the range of 20-40 Hz, over the course of 2-10 seconds, preferably over the course of 5-7 seconds, and said frequency changes in accordance with sine, triangle or square wave, preferably in accordance with sine wave.
Abstract:
A pedicure bowl has a bottom discharge drain opening communicating with a discharge duct and is arranged to receive a liner to ensure hygienic operation in the form of a thin flexible material applied over the inner surface to contain the liquid within the liner and to cover the drain opening. The drain opening is closed by the liner so that liquid within the container applies downward pressure on the liner at the drain opening and a sealing member is mounted in the duct downstream of the drain opening to prevent air flow so as to form a back pressure underneath the liner to prevent the downward pressure from rupturing the liner. The sealing member is operable to release the back pressure to cause the liner at the discharge opening to rupture.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an autonomous reclining seat element in a simple tub, the reclining seat element being locked and rotatably mounted on the edge of the pool and water is efficiently applied to the nozzles by means of a circulating pump with short pipes mounted in the equipment container and the reclining seat element is height-adjustable, tiltable and foldable, as an individual element or, by means of hinges, as multiple elements, and such a reclining seat element has one or more buoyancy bodies, armrests with pushbutton panel and, if required, an unbalance motor.
Abstract:
A control system for controlling air pressure within a sensory treatment device, such as a sensory chair or lounger. The control system includes a power source, an air pump, a pressure sensor, a pressure relief valve, and a power switch. The control system is connected to inflatable air tubes located in the sensory treatment device and is activated to inflate the inflatable air tubes to a preset upper pressure limit. The control system is further configured to cycle the pressure within the air tubes between the upper pressure limit and a preset lower pressure limit, thereby creating deep touch pressure to an occupant within the sensory treatment device.
Abstract:
The Invention discloses a foldable and track-changeable training chair for coordinated exercises of upper and lower limbs, comprising: a seat, a driving device below the seat and racks on both sides of the seat; an out-stretched driving shaft and an accessory shaft are arranged on each side of the driving device; one end of the crank of the seven-bar mechanism on both sides of the seat is fixed to the driving shaft, the other end is hinged to the head end of the first connecting rod to form a revolute pair. The Invention has a simple structure and wide usage.
Abstract:
A sonic percussion therapy system includes a patient support apparatus and a control module. The sonic percussion structure is attached to the inflatable cell so that the sonic percussion structure moves in response to movement of the inflatable cell. The control module includes a sonic percussion control module and a position control module. The sonic percussion control module independently controls frequency and/or intensity of at least one of the plurality of sonic percussion structures. The position control module selectively raises and lowers at least one of the plurality of sonic percussion structures with respect to a patient surface.
