Abstract: Provided is a training device capable of executing a plurality of operation modes, in which an operation rod is appropriately operated according to an operation mode. The training device includes the operation rod, a plurality of motors, a plurality of force detection units, and a plurality of first command calculation units. The operation rod allows a limb to move. The plurality of motors operate the operation rod in the direction of degree of freedom in which the operation rod can move. Each of the force detection units detects a corresponding force component and outputs a force component signal. The first command calculation units are connected to the corresponding force detection units. Each of the first command calculation units calculates a first motor control command on the basis of the corresponding force component signal.

Abstract: A device (7) for the rehabilitation of the movements of the foot (1) includes a supporting base (8) and a mobile platform (9) with a supporting surface (10) for resting the sole of the foot (1), wherein the mobile platform (9) is secured to the supporting base (8) by a pure rotation movement mechanism (12) with three degrees of freedom of rotary movement independent the one from the other and placed in parallel which allow rotations of the mobile platform around three axes (13, 14, 15) which intersect one another in a single rotation center (P). The supporting surface (10) is turned towards the rotation center (P) and is distant from the rotation center (P) in such a way that the rotation center (P) is positioned in correspondence to the ankle (2) of the foot (1).

Abstract: A mechanized sexual stimulation device is provided that provides a reciprocating stimulation body, preferably emulating a male in function with various length of penetration possible. Designs herein allow the protruding dildo to move back and forth to a variety of length, speeds and angles while flexing in many directions. The device includes a housing with a ball reverse screw rotatably mounted to the housing, and a reversing nut which retains bearing balls that allow the nut to move linearly up and down the ball reverse screw as the screw is turned in a single direction, thereby moving a reciprocating stimulation body such as a dildo connected (indirectly or directly) to the reversing nut. Channel or groove structures on the ball reverse screw and reversing nut guide the reciprocating back and forth stoke in a linear motion.

Abstract: A spa can include one or more variable features or functions that can be controlled by a user using a gesture recognition sensor. The gesture recognition sensor can be located proximate to the spa and optionally out of the normal range of motion of a user in a basin of the spa. Predetermined gestures detected by gesture recognition sensor can be interpreted as a command to alter a predetermined feature or function of the spa. Also disclosed is a method of controlling one or more variable features or functions of the spa using the gesture recognition sensor.

Abstract: Described herein are methods for determining a target musculoskeletal activity cycle (MSKC) to cardiac cycle (CC) timing relationship. The method may include detecting a first characteristic of a signal responsive to a CC timing of a user that repeats at a frequency that corresponds to a heart rate of the user; detecting a second characteristic of a signal responsive to a rhythmic musculoskeletal cycle activity (MSKC) timing of the user that repeats at a frequency that corresponds to the MSKC rate of the user; determining a value representative of an actual timing relationship between the first characteristic and the second characteristic; detecting a third characteristic of a signal corresponding to a physiological metric that varies with the actual timing relationship between the first and second characteristics; and determining a target value representative of a preferred timing relationship between the first and second characteristics.
