Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering active ingredients, such as pharmaceutically active ingredients, to substrates are described herein. The active ingredients are delivered as fluids to a fluid-dispensing device for the creation of one or more drops for deposition onto substrates such as for the creation of microdoses. The invention further includes microdoses made by such processes.

Abstract: Provided is a system for supplying a liquid (such as an irritative chemical solution) safely. This liquid supplying system comprises: (a) a means that creates a negative pressure in a treatment chamber by driving a first depressurizing means and depressurizing the treatment chamber; (b) a means that introduces the negative pressure of the treatment chamber to a measurement chamber; (c) a means that maintains the negative pressure introduced to the measurement chamber; (d) a means that sucks a liquid from a container into the measurement chamber by employing the negative pressure of the measurement chamber; and (e) a means that sucks the liquid of the measurement chamber into the treatment chamber by employing a vacuum in the treatment chamber.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an exhaust gas-purifying catalyst comprising: moving a gas-flow control tool from a first position where the gas-flow control tool faces the first end face with the slurry in the reservoir interposed therebetween and is spaced apart from the slurry in the reservoir to a second position where the gas-flow control tool faces the first end face with a distance from the first end face shorter than that in the first position, in a period during which the slurry flows from the first end face's side toward the second end face's side, the gas-flow control tool being configured to generate a distribution of linear velocities of gas flows when the gas-flow control tool faces the first end face and gas is passed therethrough toward the first end face.
