The present general inventive concept provides a printed circuit board assembly in which signal lines are connected between a first board and a second board, including a connector having a plurality of pins provided in one of the first board and the second board, and a connector coupling member having a plurality of pin housings which come in contact with the pins by being deformed in a pin coupling direction to electrically connect to the pins and which are provided in a surface of the other of the first board and the second board.
Abstract:
A press-fit fixing terminal is mountable to a wiring board by being inserted into a through-hole of the wiring board, and includes a flat plate section and a resilient contacting section. The flat plate section is made of metal thin plate and double-backed such that an end of the flat plate section is placed on a root side and a bent point works as an insertion tip when the terminal is inserted into the through-hole. The resilient contacting sections sandwich the double-backed portion of the flat plate section such that they are placed symmetrically with respect to the double-backed portion and both of the ridges of the resilient contacting section face outward viewed from the double-backed portion, so that each one of the resilient contacting sections forms a V-shape including an obtuse angle.

The contact assembly includes a first electrical contact having a first mounting portion and a first receptacle contact portion; a second electrical contact having a second mounting portion and a second receptacle contact portion; and an electrical device secured to the first mounting portion and to the second mounting portion. The electrical device carrier contact assembly is configured to be manipulated and installed on the circuit board as a single unit. A PCB assembly includes a PCB and the electrical device carrier contact assembly inserted by an insertion tool.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a modular panel lighting apparatus comprising a multi layer power board and one or more lighting modules. The power board is a compound structure of one or more electrically conductive layers which are separated by one or more electrically insulating layers. The power board is configured to receive one or more lighting modules and can provide electrical, mechanical and thermal function adequate to meet a desired functionality of the lighting apparatus. A lighting module comprises one or more light-emitting elements operatively attached to a connector element that has one or more electrical contact portions. By inserting the connector element into the power board, the lighting module can be mounted anywhere on the face of the power board. When appropriately inserted into the power board, the one or more electrical contact portions of the connector element can establish selective electrical contact with the conductive layers of the power board and can secure the lighting module in place.
Abstract:
An electrical apparatus for attaching a battery to a printed circuit board which includes a battery body containing terminals, a portion of each of said terminals defining a fixing portion, a circuit board containing conductive portions and at least one through hole formed therein, wherein the fixing portion of each of the terminals contains at least one engaging portion which lockingly engages the through holes formed in the circuit board or in the vicinity of the through holes and contains a contacting portion which contacts the conductive portion of the circuit board for electrically connecting the battery body to said conductive portion of the circuit board.
Abstract:
An electrically conducting bonding connection (B) is produced between an electronic circuit (S) arranged on an electrically conducting support plate (1) and the support plate (1) by providing a hole (4, 5), into which an electrically conducting bonding element (2) with a bondable surface (3) is pressed in such a way that the support plate (1) and the bonding element (2) enter into an electrically conducting and frictional connection; the bonding connection is subsequently produced with the bonding element (2).
Abstract:
A controller for a motor vehicle has a base plate, a conductor track substrate fitted on the base plate, an electronic circuit and a housing cover which is connected to the base plate in a contact region and is made of plastic. The housing cover furthermore encases electrical conductors. One conductor end of an electrical conductor projects out of the housing cover in a contact region and projects into an opening in the base plate, by which an electrical connection is produced with the conductor track substrate.
Abstract:
A sheet capacitor of the invention has a contact portion formed in a through-hole requiring electrical connection with an IC connection pin among the through-holes in which the IC connection pins are inserted, and a capacitor element connected to the contact portion. Another sheet capacitor of the invention includes an insulating board and a capacitor element mounted on the insulating board. The insulating board has a connection land with an IC at the upper side, and a connection land with a printed wiring board at the lower side. The capacitor element and connection lands at the upper and lower side of the insulating board are connected with each other electrically. In any one of these configurations, a capacitor element of large capacity and low ESL is connected closely to the IC, and the mounting area of the peripheral circuits of the IC can be increased.
Abstract:
An electric junction box that can accommodate various circuit patterns in accordance with a combination of a printed-circuit board and a case housing the printed-circuit board. Connection pins connected to conductors are provided in a projecting position at intervals along the peripheral edge of a printed-circuit board. An opening corresponding to the printed-circuit board is formed in a central region of the upper side of a case. Connector joints are positioned on the peripheral walls of the four sides of the case, and L-shaped terminals are provided at the same intervals as for the connection pins along the opening. Additionally, a connection structure of a tuning-fork terminal includes a tuning-fork terminal at the end portion of a conducting plate base bent vertically and having a press connection slot in the center of the vertical portion; and a tab-shaped mating terminal electrically connected to contact portions projecting from inner sides of the slot.
Abstract:
A method of assembling a power distribution apparatus including a plurality of conductive circuit plates, each conductive plate including a plurality of contact pads that are interconnected by removable connecting links. The method includes selectively removing a portion of the connecting links on each conductive circuit plate to form discrete circuits on the conductive plates, stacking the conductive plates, mounting contact pins to selected contact pads, and heating the stacked plates and the mounted contact pins, thereby reflowing the conductive circuit plates and the pins to create solder joints therebetween.
