Abstract:
An exemplary patch panel includes a printed circuit board having a plurality of input terminals and output terminals. An amount of the input terminals is equal to an amount of the output terminals. The input terminals are connected to the output terminals respectively. The printed circuit board further includes a plurality of standby terminals. Each of the input terminals is connected to the standby terminals via switches respectively. The standby terminals can be used to selectively replace a number of the input terminals or the output terminals, should they become inoperable, by operating the switches.

an electronic apparatus includes a flexible printed circuit having a first surface on which a switch is mounted, a reinforcement plate having a first surface arranged to face a second surface of the flexible printed circuit opposite to the first surface of the flexible printed circuit on which the switch is mounted, and a spacer arranged to face a second surface of the reinforcement plate opposite to the first surface of the reinforcement plate that faces the second surface of the flexible printed circuit.
Abstract:
In an embodiment of the present invention, a memory card includes a bottom plastic piece having a plurality of lateral sides, one of which includes a notch, and a cavity interposed along the lateral sides. A printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, including memory, is positioned in the cavity. A fin-structure is created as part of the manufacturing process of the bottom plastic piece of the card. The memory card is configured to function in a read-write mode when the fin-structure is present, and in a write-protect mode when the fins are snapped off, and the notch is exposed. Alternatively, a plug device can be insertably positioned into the notch, causing the memory card to function in a read-write mode when the plug device is positioned into the notch, and in a write-protect mode when the plug device is removed and the notch is exposed.
Abstract:
A switch system for use with a printed circuit board is provided. The switch system includes: a switch base; an anti-overstress member or feature formed in the switch base; a plurality of retention legs formed in the base for retaining a printed circuit board, wherein a first via is in electrical communication with one of the plurality of retention legs; a spring-loaded contact formed in the base for contacting the anti-overstress feature, and wherein a second via is in electrical communication with the spring-loaded contact. A printed circuit board may be mounted in and attached to the plurality of retention legs.
Abstract:

The molded SD card further having a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly positioned in said cavity, one of said plurality of lateral sides of said bottom plastic piece having a notch recess, said molded SD card further having a male guide insertably positioned into said notch recess, said molded SD card further having a female switch clamped onto said male guide to form a write-protect switch.
Abstract:
Provided is a carbon nanotube (CNT) transparent conductive layer having a loop pattern in which a plurality of loops are at least partially connected to one another, and a fabrication method thereof. The loops in the pattern are generated by a spray-coating method and partially connected with one anther, and thus improving transparency and conductivity of the CNT transparent conductive layer. In Addition, the CNT transparent conductive layer has conductivity and sheet resistance highly suitable for a transparent electrode.
Abstract:
A hearing aid includes a circuit board having a battery affixed thereon and a switch that utilizes a portion of the circuit board as a portion of the switch. The battery is permanently affixed to the circuit board in at least one location and at least a portion of the battery is spaced away from the circuit board. The circuit board further includes at least one pair of printed switch traces. The switch is integrated into the circuit board in a way that utilizes the circuit board to form a rotary switch.
Abstract:
This invention is directed to a support plate for reinforcing a portion of a circuit board. The support plate may be coupled to a portion of the circuit board that is subject to forces (e.g., portions of the circuit board having switches) to prevent flexing of the board. The support plate may be coupled to the circuit board. This invention is also directed to a switch constructed from a button, a label plate, and a backer plate. The label plate and the backer plate may include apertures operative to receive a protrusion extending from the button, where the protrusion is welded to the backer plate. Labels may be printed or attached to the bottom surface of the label plate to protect the labels. In some embodiments, the protrusion may be welded to the backer plate. The protrusion may be operative to engage an electrical switch of an electronic device in which the switch is placed.
Abstract:
A protection circuit module includes a printed circuit board in which at least one wiring pattern is formed, a conductive pad that is coupled to a wiring pattern of the printed circuit board, and is electrically coupled to a rechargeable battery, and a semiconductor package that is soldered on the wiring pattern of the printed circuit board, so that if the voltage of the rechargeable battery is in the overcharged or over-discharged state, the semiconductor package selectively blocks a charging path or a discharging path of the rechargeable battery.
Abstract:
A control switch connection structure is proposed, in which a control switch of an electronic device is set up on a frame, and two conducting strips are adhered onto the frame. The control switch is electrically connected to a circuit board via these two conducting strips. The setup steps of flexible printed circuit board and flat flexible cable of the control switch in the prior art can thus be saved to lower the manufacturing cost and shorten the manufacturing process of electronic device.
