Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for automatically setting sorting boxes for automatic mail sorting. As the position of a sorting box of mail is informed by automatically changing sorting band information depending on the change of a postal area and using address information and barcode information of mail while the system is designed so that a mailman does not need to use PDA for registered mail, the mailman does not need to modify sorting box information according to the change of the postal area all the time and can easily find the sorting box of the corresponding mail although the position of the sorting box is changed by informing the mailman of the position of the sorting box of the corresponding mail, and the corresponding sorting box can be automatically known even though the postal area is changed or a new postal area is assigned, thereby improving the efficiency of mail sorting.

Abstract: The present invention suggests an unmanned mail receiving apparatus capable of address information automatically even though a user does not input address information directly.
