Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel pump lubricating apparatus driven with a cam is provided to reduce the frictional heat and abrasion caused by rolling contact by directly lubricating the contact surface between a cam and a roller for a fuel pump and between a tappet and a high pressure fuel pump adapter. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pump lubricating apparatus driven with a cam comprises a cylinder head(100), a head through passage(120), and a fuel pump adapter lubricating channel(220). In the cylinder head, an oil gallery is formed and a cam shaft is arranged. The head through passage passes through the cylinder head and supplies oil to the inside of the fuel pump adapter. The oil can pass through the wall of a fuel pump adapter(200) through the fuel pump adapter lubricating channel which is branched into a tappet lubrication nozzle(211) and a cam lubrication nozzle(212).

Abstract: An engine is provided to prevent the fuel from contacting to the inner surface of the air intake port even when the fuel is emitted while forming a cubic angle in an injector. An engine comprises an air intake port(100) which is bent downward from the injector arrangement position to the combustion chamber intake hole(150). A flexion(200) is formed in the floor of the air intake port(105) nearby the combustion chamber intake hole. The flexion gets wider toward the air intake hole. Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) system is provided to improve initial response property of an EGR valve, and to improve fuel and discharge efficiency by preventing condensed water from being flowed into the EGR valve. An exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) system comprises a first gas passage(207), an EGR valve(205), an exhaust gas passage(204) of the EGR valve and a second gas passage(203). The first gas passage transfers some of exhaust gas from an exhaust manifold(209). The EGR valve is connected to the first gas passage and selectively opens/closes the first gas passage. The exhaust gas passage of the EGR valve is located inside the EGR valve and bent by a predetermined angle. The second gas passage connects the exhaust gas passage of the EGR valve to a passage(213) of a mixer so that the exhaust gas is flowed into a combustion chamber from the EGR valve.
