Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbing medium maintaining absorbing capacity over a long term, and to deacidify fluid streams. SOLUTION: This absorption medium contains at least one aliphatic amine and at least one non-hydroquinoid antioxidant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for rectification separation of an acrylic acid-containing liquid consisting in supplying an acrylic acid-rich material flow to a rectification column upstream of a supplying area and in carrying out an inhibiting polymerisation in the top section of the rectification column with the aid of diacrylic acid.
Abstract:
A method for stabilizing polymerizable compounds with respect to polymerization during preparation, storage and/or transport, wherein at least one radical interceptor containing at least two glycine units is used with the proviso that the radical ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA), trans-1,2-cyclohexane diamine tetraacetic acid (CYDTA) and the alkaline and alkaline earth salts thereof.
Abstract:
In the separation of a liquid (F) containing acrylic acid (I) by supplying (F) to an inlet site (Z) of a rectification column and recovering a stream (S) having a (I) content of at least 90 wt. % (and higher than that of (F)) from an outlet site (E) above (Z), the content (G) of diacrylic acid (II) in the reflux liquid in the region of the column at least two theoretical plates above (Z) is at least 550 ppm by weight.
Abstract:
The use of amidoximes for stabilisation of ethylenically-unsaturated compounds against undesired radical polymerisation is disclosed. Combinations of amidoximes with phenol and/or phenothiazine compounds have a synergistic effect. Preferred amidoximes are nitrilotris(acetamidoxime) and nitrilotris(propionamidoxime).
Abstract:
A description is given of an absorption medium for deacidifying fluid streams which has improved oxidation stability and comprises at least one aliphatic amine, in particular an alkanolamine, and at least one non-hydroquinoid antioxidant. The absorption medium serves for deacidifying a fluid stream, in particular an oxygen-containing fluid stream, the fluid stream being brought into intimate contact with the absorption medium in at least one absorption step.
Abstract:
A stabilizer mixture (I) comprises at least one radical trap containing at least two glycerol units with the proviso that it is not ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA), trans-1,2-cyclohexane diamine tetraacetic acid (CYDTA) or their alkali or alkaline earth salts, and at least one other stabilizer or costabilizer. Independent claims are included for: (1) a mixture (II) comprising a stabilizer mixture (I) and at least one polymerizable compound; and (2) a process for the stabilization of polymerizable compounds during processing, storage and/or transport by use of the radical trap.
Abstract:
A process for the production and/or processing of mixtures containing (meth)acrylic acid and/or (meth)acrylic acid esters comprises production and/or processing in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor and at least one oxygen containing gas that is at partially dosed in at an exit rate of at least 50 mm/s.
