PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheath-core fiber suitable for a woven or knitted fabric as a raw material of a thermotropic shade by arranging a temperature-controlled ray penetrating material as a core and surrounding the circumference of the same with a transparent sheath layer. SOLUTION: This method for producing a temperature-controlled ray- penetrating material is provided by using a thermotropic polymer blend having a lower part critical separation temperature, e.g. a blended material of a poly(styrene-co-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) with a polypropylene oxide as a core material, and a ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as a sheath material, supplying a melted flow thereof to a composite die for a sheath-core fiber to obtain the temperature controlled ray-penetrating material consisting of the sheath-core type fiber obtained by surrounding the circumference of the core part comprising the above thermotropic polymer blend with a transparent sheath layer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare solid preparations where a high molecular weight polymeric binder can be employed and the delayed release of an active ingredient is made possible by producing a plastic mixture of a specific polymeric binder, medicament active principle or the like under a specific condition and by molding the mixture so as to have a necessary dosage form. SOLUTION: The objective preparations are prepared by producing a plastic mixture of at least one kind selected from pharmaceutically acceptable polymeric binders having >75 K value (preferably homopolymer or a copolymer from vinylpyrrolidone) and at least one kind selected from medicament active principles, (e.g. ibuprofen or the like) and, optionally, a customary adjuvant under the condition of temperature (preferably

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for inexpensively and simply preparing a functional substance-containing preparation which is dissolved or itself dispersed in water or in gastrointestinal tracts, such as medicines or food additives. SOLUTION: This method for preparing granules which contain a biologically active substance and in which the biologically active substance is homogeneously dispersed in a matrix based on at least one thermoplastic polymer having a solubility dependent to pH values in an aqueous medium, by homogeneously mixing the charged substance in the state of the melt and then extruding and shaping the mixture, characterized by forming the granules in an insoluble or nondispersible cooling medium.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the self-adhesive force of a multicomponent film by allowing a temperature-controlled radiation transmissible material for the multicomponent film to be present in a single layer or plural layers entirely encircled by a transparent crystal layer. SOLUTION: The temperature-controlled radiation transmissible material for a multicomponent film is present in a single layer or plural layers entirely encircled by a transparent crustal layer. A core material to be used is selected from thermally oriented polymers and the components of the polymer blend show a lower critical separation temperature which is known to be generated when it is the case with a polymer blend indicating an interference of a middle scale due to a mechanism such as salt formation, hydrogen bonding, complexing, p-electronic interference or amphoteric ionic interference. The thermally oriented polymer blend and a crustal polymer are supplied to a die suited for manufacturing a composite compound film, in a molten state, passing through an extruding machine. The core has a circular section when it is in the simplest form.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing solid, spherical forms containing at least one pharmaceutical active agent homogeneously dispersed in an auxiliary matrix. According to this method, the constituents are mixed to form a melt which is then shaped. The invention is characterised in that at least one pharmaceutical active agent is processed with at least one thermoplastically processable matrix auxiliary to form a homogeneous melt with a viscosity of less than 5000 mPas and in that this melt is shaped into drops using a rotating perforated roll. These drops are then cooled so that they solidify.

The invention relates to a method for producing solid forms of administration by means of melt extrusion. A polymer binder, at least one pharmaceutical active agent and optionally, other additives are mixed and the mixture is melted in an extruder and then extruded in the form of a continuous plastic product strand. The inventive method is characterised in that the extruder used is a planetary roller extruder (10) which preferably has one central spindle (13) and six planetary spindles (14).

The invention relates to a method for producing granulates which contain enzymes and which are suited for feeding animals. The granulates are produced by mixing at least one enzyme with a supporting material and by extruding this mixture. The inventive method is characterized in that the supporting material is firstly plasticized in a screw mixer which is equipped with at least one horizontally arranged screw. Afterwards, the enzyme is introduced into the screw mixer and is processed with the plasticized supporting material to produce a homogeneous material which is then extruded.
