Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thiazole carboxylic ester. SOLUTION: A method for producing a compound represented by formula VI is characterized by reacting a thioamide represented by formula IV and a bromopyruvic ester represented by formula V:[wherein, R 1 indicates a branched or straight chained 1-4C alkyl] in a alcohol, R 2 OH (wherein, R 2 indicates a branched or straight chained 1-8C alkyl, HO-CH 2 -CH 2 , HO-CH 2 -CH 2 -CH 2 - or 1-4C alkyl-O-CH 2 -CH 2 -) at -5°C to 40°C. Abstract:
Method of protecting metallic surfaces from corrosion by single-phase or multi-phase fluid media, by adding to the fluid medium a copolymer comprising at least ethylene, a comonomer comprising amino groups, and also, optionally, further comonomers. Fluids which comprise such copolymers.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of polylysine, polylysine derivatives, or a combination of polylysine and polylysine derivatives in biocide formulations containing copper. The invention also relates to methods for controlling micro-organisms using the above-mentioned formulations.
Abstract:
The invention relates to using polymers containing an .alpha.-olefin, an .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester and optionally a carboxylic acid alcenyl ester which are incorporated by polymerisation in the form of turbine fuel additives, in particular for improving the cold properties thereof. Turbine fuels containing said polymers and additive packets containing polymers such type polymers are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to using polymers containing an a-olefin, an unsaturated a, ss carboxylic acid ester and optionally a carboxylic acid alcenyl ester which are incorporated by polymerisation in the form of turbine fuel additives, in particular for improving the cold properties thereof. Turbine fuels containing said polymers and additive packets containing polymers such type polymers are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Copolymers which comprise in copolymerized form, (A) 60 to 99% by weight of at least one monoethylenically unsaturated polyalkylene oxide monomer of the formula I H 2 C-CR 1 -X-Y -R 2 -O- n -R 3 I in which the variables have the following meanings: X is -CH 2 - or -CO-, if Y is -O-; is -CO-, if Y is -NH-; Y is -O- or -NH-; R 1 is hydrogen or methyl; R 2 are identical or different C 2 -C 6 -alkylene radicals, which may be linear or branched and may be arranged blockwise or randomly; R 3 is hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 -alkyl; n is an integer from 3 to 50, (B) 1 to 40% by weight of at least one quaternized nitrogen-containing monoethylenically unsaturated monomer, (C) 0 to 39% by weight of anionic monoethylenically unsaturated monomers and (D) 0 to 30% by weight of other nonionic monoethylenically unsaturated monomers and have an average molecular weight M w of from 2000 to 100 000, and use of these copolymers as dispersants for clay minerals.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of polymers which comprise, in copolymerized form, an alpha-olefin, an alkenyl ester of a carboxylic acid and an ester of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid as an additive for turbine fuels and in particular as a cold flow improver for turbine fuels, to the turbine fuels additized with these polymers, and to additive packets comprising such copolymers.
Abstract:
Compounds of the formula and the salts thereof with physiologically tolerated acids and the stereoisomers thereof, in which the substituents have the meanings stated in the description, are described. Also disclosed are intermediates for their preparation. The compounds are suitable for controlling diseases.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing (+)-exo-6-phenyl-3--azabicyc lo- [3.2.0]heptanes of formula (I) in which R represents hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, fluorine or methoxy. The inventive compounds ar e characterized in that a bisallyl ammonium salt of formula (II), in which R has the above-mentioned meanings and X- represents an anion , is photo-cyclized in an inert solvent while adding a sensitizer in a glass apparatus, and the selected (+)-exo-isomer (I) is precipitated as ditoluoyl tartrate using (-)-ditoluoyl tartaric acid from the obtained mixture, and this ditoluoyl tartrate is optionally recrystalliz ed out of an alcohol/water mixture.
