    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To augment the focal depth of an aligner, using a general process and photosensitive agent, by providing in its optical system a birefringent optical unit including translucent birefringent parts made of a birefringent substance, and by transcribing the images of a photomask in different positions from each other present along the optical axis of its optical system which are imaged respectively by the different polarization components from each other of its irradiation ray transmitted through its optical system. SOLUTION: In an optical system there is provided a birefringent optical unit 200 comprising translucent birefringent optical parts 210 made of a birefringent substance. The birefringent substance of which the birefringent optical parts 210 are made has different refractive indexes from each other respectively for rays 212, 213 having respective parallel and orthogonal linear polarizations to the optical axes of the birefringent substance. Correspondingly to this, the positions of image points 212a, 213a imaged respectively by the rays 212, 213 having the respective parallel and orthogonal linear polarizations to the optical axis of the birefringent substance are made of different from each other, leaving a predetermined space between them along the optical axis of the optical system. In this way, the focal depth of an aligner is augmented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drop yield voltage and ON-resistance, by extending a gate electrode in a lateral direction to a part of the upper side of a field insulating film from a gate area along the upper side of the center of a drift area, and extending a source electrode to a part of the field insulating film of the upper side of the drift area from a source area. SOLUTION: The gate electrode 7 of an electric element has a gate field board structure extended to a part of a field insulating film 3 through the center of the upper side of an n-type drift area 4 from a gate area in a lateral direction. A source electrode 11 has a field board structure extended to a part of the interlayer insulating film 10 of the upper side of the n-type drift area 4 from a source area. Thus, a depletion layer in the drift area 4 at the time of an operation changes by drain voltage and gate voltage. Yield voltage is boosted by RESURF(reduced surface field) effect in the drift area given by a source field board. Then, ON-resistance is reduced by the reduction of the depletion layer by the gate field board.

The manager 2 also serves as a kernel part of a software document production device.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate various characteristics simultaneously by integrating testers for various characteristics thereby enhancing the efficiency of the tester.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict materials to request access later on material access conditions and to enable these materials to continuously exist in a buffer by dividing the cache buffer into least recently used(LRU) and least frequently used(LFU) areas and classifying a requested object to a hot set and a cold set. SOLUTION: The cache buffer in fixed size is divided into an LFU area 42 and an LRU area 43 and the sizes of these areas 42 and 43 are dynamically operated. Namely, when there are a lot of objects belonging to the hot set, the LFU area 42 is made relatively larger than the LRU area 43 and when an opposite phenomenon occurs with the passage of time, the LRU area 43 is enlarged in comparison with the LFU area 42. Further, the objects classified into the hot set and the objects classified into the cold set are linked by groups. Thus, the materials to request access later can be predicted on the material access conditions and can be let exist in the cache buffer.
