    Abstract: The present invention relates to an airbag housing of a vehicle and a method for manufacturing the same capable of improving performance as each part is made of different materials according to required characteristics. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the airbag housing of the vehicle a body unit and a door unit. The body unit holds an inflator, which inflates an airbag when the vehicle collides, and includes an opened side to inflate the airbag in one-way direction. The door unit forms a closed space wherein the airbag and inflator are placed as being connected to the opened side of the body unit, and includes an airbag door being opened by the deployment of the airbag. The door unit is formed of a combination between a high strength part and high flexibility part. The method for manufacturing the airbag housing of the vehicle is the injection-molding of the door unit and comprises a step of: 1) preparing molds and materials having high strength and flexibility to form the door unit; 2) inserting fiber fabrics into the molds; and 3) injecting the materials having the high strength and flexibility into the the molds at the same time.
