    Abstract: El proceso para la preparación de aminas primarias por aminación de alcohol de alcoholes con amoniaco con la eliminación de agua, que comprende las etapas (a) reacción homogéneamente catalizada de una mezcla de reacción que comprende por lo menos un alcohol, amoníaco, por lo menos un solvente no polar y por lo menos un catalizador que comprende por lo menos un elemento seleccionado de los grupos 8, 9 y 10 de la Tabla Periódica de los Elementos en la fase líquida, dando una mezcla de productos (P) (b) separación de fase de la mezcla de producto (P) obtenida en la etapa (a), opcionalmente después de disminuir la temperatura, disminuir la presión y/o agregar por lo menos un solvente polar que tiene un espacio de miscibilidad con el solvente no polar, para dar por lo menos una fase (A) de producto polar, y por lo menos una fase (B) no polar que comprende por lo menos parte del catalizador utilizado, y una separación de la fase (B) no polar, (c) regresar por lo menos parte de la fase (B) no polar a la reacción en la etapa (a), y (d) separar la producción de aminación de la fase (A) del producto polar, en donde el solvente no polar utilizado en (a) y el catalizador utilizado en (a) se seleccionan de tal manera que el catalizador se acumula en la fase (B) no polar.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing formic acid by hydrogenation of carbon dioxide in the presence of a catalyst which contains an element of the 8th, 9th or 10th group of the periodic system, a tertiary amine and a polar solvent, at a pressure of 0.2 to 30 MPa abs and a temperature of 20 to 200°C, thereby producing two liquid phases, and separation of the two liquid phases. The liquid phase (B) enriched by the tertiary amine is returned to the hydrogenation reactor and the formic acid/amine addition product from the liquid phase (A) enriched by the formic acid/amine addition product and the polar solvent is thermally separated into free formic acid and free tertiary amine in a distillation unit and the tertiary amine released during separation and the polar solvent are returned to the hydrogenation reactor.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing primary amines by means of the alcohol amination of alcohols with ammonia, with water being eliminated. The method comprises the steps of: (a) a homogenously-catalysed reaction of a reaction mixture which contains at least one alcohol, ammonia, at least one non-polar solvent, and at least one catalyst containing at least one element selected from groups 8, 9 and 10 of the periodic table in the liquid phase, a product mixture (P) thus being obtained; (b) separating the phases of product mixture (P) which was obtained in step (a), if necessary after a reduction in temperature, a reduction in pressure and/or the addition of at least one polar solvent with a miscibility gap in relation to the non-polar solvent, and thus obtaining at least one polar product phase (A) and at least one non-polar phase (B) containing at least one portion of the catalyst that was introduced, with said non-polar phase (B) being separated off, (c) returning at least one portion of the non-polar phase (B) into the reaction in step (a), and (d) separating the amination product from the polar product phase (A). The non-polar solvent introduced in (a) and the catalyst introduced in step (a) are selected such that the catalyst in the non-polar phase (B) becomes enriched.
