Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which can process signals to be transmitted from various antenna, for improving the capability of a receiver that extracts these transmitting signals from the received signals, regardless of some correlations in a MIMO system. SOLUTION: The number of bit streams to be transmitted simultaneously is adjusted and decreased, according to the correlation level, and at the same time plural versions of every bit stream weighted in various ways are transmitted at the same time. These weighted versions are coupled together for generating a single-coupled weighting signal. A receiver processes the received signals, as through all signals arrived at a receiving antenna with no correlation. A weight vector can be decided with a forward channel transmitter, by making use of the channel characteristic of a forward link that is notified to a transmitter of a forward link when the channel characteristic is transmitted from a receiver of a forward link via a transmitter of a reverse link.

SOLUTION: The respective wavelength converters 11 are connected only to one input port of fabric 21 and the respective input ports of the fabric 21 are connected only to one wavelength converter 11. The input optical fiber 1 of the WDM cross-connection is connected to k1 pieces of the optical switches 13 of cross-connection for separating n1 pieces of wavelengths to n1 pieces of optical fibers and inputted to the respective wavelength converters 11. Thus, the respective wavelength converters 11 receive only n1 pieces of the optical fibers 14. The fabric 21 is provided with an output port connected to k2 pieces of output optical fibers 15 and in this case, k2 is an integer equal to the number of the output optical fibers connected to the output port of the fabric.

The lens row separates an actual incident electron beam into a plurality of sub-beams. As a result, beam emittance outputted is different from the incident emittance, but the total current for the beam remains unchanged.

When a viewer moves so as to separate from the ideal viewpoint (IVP: ideal viewing point) of the image in this way, image distortion caused by the movement reacts so as to suppress the distortion.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the multimode optical fiber of wide range silica-base contains provision of noncircular preform and drawing of fiber of chiral structure from the preform. The noncircular preform can be manufactured by maintaining the inside of a tubular preform under reduced pressure during at least a part of breaking and consequently obtaining a noncircular core and a cladding. The noncircular preform can be also manufactured by removing proper parts of the preform (by grinding or by plasma etching, for example) and obtaining a circular core and a noncircular cladding. The chiral structure is given to the fiber, for example, by twisting the fiber alternately in a clockwise direction and in an anticlockwise direction with respect to the preform during drawing of the fiber.
