Abstract: A method and a system for controlling gear shifting of a transmission for a vehicle are disclosed. The method comprises a start point sensing step of sensing a shift lever at a shifting start point of a corresponding transmission gate according to the operation of the shift lever when the connection of a clutch is canceled at the push of a clutch pedal; a determination step of determining whether shifting starts when the shift lever is sensed at the shifting start point; and a first quick shifting step of controlling the speed of shifting through a gear actuator to become higher than the speed of reference shifting if an opening level of the clutch pedal for connecting the clutch exceeds a reference value when it is determined that the shifting has starts.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A brake drag reduction structure for disk brake and a dead stroke compensation method thereof are provided to increase the rollback amount of a piston seal when braking power is removed, thereby reducing brake drag. CONSTITUTION: A brake drag reduction structure includes seal grooves(10). The seal grooves are formed in a way the width(D1) between a front surface(11) facing a disk and a rear surface(12) is greater than the width(D2) of a seal securing surface(13). The front surface of the seal grooves comprises a brake surface(11a) and a inclined surface(11b). The brake surface prevents deformation of a piston seal(6) when braking power is produced, and restricts movement of the piston seal. The brake surface is formed on the front end of the seal securing surface and bent toward a piston(2). The inclined surface is formed on the end of the brake surface and inclined toward the disk.
