    Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-pressure fuel pump for a direct injection type LPI (low-pressure injection) system which includes a body having an inlet, an outlet, and a collection port on the lateral surface; a bracket joined to the bottom of the body and including an inner suction means generating force for sucking fuel; and a flow-rate control valve joined to one side of the body and controlling supply and discharge pressure of the fuel. The inlet and the collecting port are connected to an entry-side check valve which is opened and closed by the flow-rate control valve. By using the high-pressure fuel pump for the direct injection type LPI system, an effect of generating high pressure by rapidly collecting LPG fuel including air bubbles generated by the vaporization of the LPG fuel due to heat, which is generated by the operation of the flow-rate control valve, in a cylinder and then sufficiently pressing the rest of the LPG fuel at a preset high pressure, is obtained.
