Abstract:
PURPOSE: A menu drive-in method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to directly approach an index of a prior selected menu when approaching each menu, without initializing an index, so as to eliminate inconvenience of searching a menu from beginning whenever menu depth changes. CONSTITUTION: A controller accesses contents of a menu index table in a menu table(S42). The controller checks whether a menu index is stored(S44). If not, the controller stores currently selected menu and index(S46). The controller displays menu contents and the index through a displayer(S50). If a menu index is stored in the step S44, the controller sets the menu index as a current index(S48) and displays menu contents and the index through the displayer(S50). The controller checks whether a menu search key is inputted(S52). If so, the controller changes the index(S54), and if not inputted, the controller checks whether the displayed menu contents are selected(S56). If not, the controller jumps to the step S50, and if selected, the controller checks whether a sub menu is arranged(S58). If so, the controller returns to the step S42 to store the sub menu and a corresponding index. And if a sub menu is not arranged, the controller provides a function of the selected menu.

PURPOSE: A method of simultaneously displaying the current time of each of home and local areas at the time of roaming. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the steps of: receiving the position information from a ground base station, determining if the area that the current communication is a local area, and setting up a roaming state when the area is the local area; computing the current time of the home and local area by receiving the standard time information from the ground base station; and displaying the current time of each of the home and local areas on a display. This invention can provide convenience to a user because there is no need to set up the current time of the local area.

PURPOSE: A device and a method using a portable terminal for recognizing changes in heading of a navigator are provided to accurately display a route from a current location to a destination by using the portable terminal capable of detachably attaching to the navigator. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal capable of detachably attaching to a navigator comprises a measurement unit and a variation vector calculating unit(540). The measurement unit measures at least one of a gravity acceleration component vector and a rotary shaft component vector with respect to the rotation of the navigator on a terminal coordination system fixed to the portable terminal. The variation vector calculating unit a horizontal heading change vector and a vertical heading change vector based on at least one of the gravity acceleration component vector and the rotary shaft component vector. [Reference numerals] (510) Gravity acceleration measuring unit; (520) Rotary shaft component measuring unit; (530) Coordinate system converting unit; (540) Variation vector calculating unit; (550) Centrifugal force calculating unit; (560) Positioning value receiving unit; (570) Application information storage unit; (580) Display unit; (590) Path correcting unit;
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A modified microorganism with improved xylose utilization is provided to produce chemical materials. CONSTITUTION: A modified microorganism converts xylose into xylitol by xylose reductase, xylitol into xylulose by xylitol dehydrogenase, and xylulose into xylulose-5-phosphate by xylulokinase. The microorganism produces a chemical material using xylose. Xylose is converted into xylitol by xylose reductase. The xylose reductase and xylitol dehydrogenase activities are derived from Pichia stipitis. The xylulokinase activity is derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The modified microorganism is E.coli or Kluyveromyces marxianus. The chemical material includes alcohol, organic acid, amino acid, or vitamin. The modified microorganism is deposited by deposit number KCTC11951BP, KCTC11952BP or KCTC11953BP.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A recombinant microorganism which produces 3-hydroxypropionic acid(3-HP) using a malonic semialdehyde reduction pathway is provided to remarkably enhance 3-HP productivity by gene manipulation. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant microorganism for producing 3-hydroxypropionic acid has a pathway for sequentially producing pyruvate, acetyl Co, malonyl-CoA, and malonic semialdehyde. The microorganism includes Escherichia sp., Saccharomyces sp., or Kluyveromyces sp. A gene encoding lactate dehydrogenase is IdhA or a homolog or a variant thereof. A gene encoding phosphotransacetylase is pta or a homolog or a variant thereof.

PURPOSE: An expression vector which overexpresses target proteins, and a method for producing the target protein are provided to obtain the proteins in K. marxianus. CONSTITUTION: An expression vector contains: a replication origin; a CYC promoter, a TEF promoter, a GPD promoter, or an ADH promoter; and a terminator. The CYC promoter contains a sequence of sequence number 1 or a sequence having 70% or more sequence homology with the sequence of sequence number 1. The TEF promoter has a sequence of sequence number 2 or a sequence with 70% or more sequence homology with the sequence of sequence number 2. GPD promoter contains a sequence of sequence number 3 or a sequence having 70% or more homology with the sequence of sequence number 3. The ADH promoter has a sequence of sequence number 4 or a sequence having 70% or more sequence homology with the sequence of sequence number 4.
