Abstract: PURPOSE: An electrohydraulic variable valve unit is provided to remarkably enhance assembling performance since the valve unit can be movably mounted on a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: An electrohydraulic variable valve unit comprises a cylinder head, a slave piston(20) and a main piston(10). First and second oil supply paths are formed on one side of the outside of the cylinder head. The stepped part of the cylinder head is formed to have different inner diameters. The slave piston is installed in the cylinder head. The slave piston makes contact with an engine valve to control driving. The slave piston supplies the track of the main piston and controls fluid pressure. The slave piston forms a path(22) on a position facing the second supply path. The main piston receives the driving force of a cam, is installed in the slave piston and slides on the inner circumferential surface.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure of an oil filter core for preventing oil drain is provided to increase the responsiveness by charging oil quickly in an oil filter in restarting an engine and supplying oil, and to improve the lubrication efficiency of the main bearing and the con-rod bearing by feeding oil to the main gallery promptly in cold starting. CONSTITUTION: An oil filter core is composed of a drain pipe(21) fitted to an insertion part(4) of a lower case(2) combined with an engine block(1) and a drain hole(22) formed in the middle of the drain pipe. A cylindrical shutoff pipe(23) is formed in the upper part of the drain pipe, and a sealing plate(25) is connected to the lower center of the shutoff pipe by a connecting rib to shut off the drain hole. A supporting bar is protruded in the upper part of the shutoff pipe and connected to an upper case(3). A screw tap(24) is formed I the lower part of the shutoff pipe and thread-connected to the insertion part of the lower case.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A relief valve for controlling oil pressure of an engine is provided to prevent the pressure of oil from being lowered even in a hot idle operation region. CONSTITUTION: A relief valve for controlling oil pressure of an engine is mounted in the middle of an oil line(30) for making oil pumped by an oil pump delivered to each operation part of the engine, to control the pressure of the oil supplied to each lubricating part of the engine. The relief valve for controlling oil pressure of the engine comprises a variable valve(21) installed in the middle of the oil line, to control the sectional area of the oil line through which oil passes; an actuator(22) operating the variable valve according a change of negative pressure of a surge tank(40); the surge tank giving negative pressure to the actuator; and a negative pressure line(42) connecting the surge tank and an operation chamber(24) of the actuator to transmit the negative pressure produced in the surge tank to a diaphragm(25). In the actuator, the diaphragm is connected to a side of the variable valve by a rod(26).
