    Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust manifold structure is provided to exactly detect the amount of oxygen contained in exhaust gas by forming every runners toward an oxygen sensor and to improve the exhaust purifying efficiency of the exhaust gas by passing the exhaust gas with uniformly distributing into a screen member. CONSTITUTION: A body portion(11) on which an oxygen sensor(1) is installed is combined with a screen member(22) to maintain the airtight. The screen member contains a partition(22a) coated by catalyst. Many runners(12,13,14,15) having specific inclinations are formed in the body portion at uniform intervals. The second and the third runners are respectively connected with body portion between the first and the fourth runners. In flowing exhaust gas to the body portion, the oxygen sensor detects the oxygen amount in the exhaust gas exactly. Thereby, the air fuel ratio of a vehicle is improved. Moreover, the exhaust purifying efficiency of the exhaust gas is improved by uniformly distributing the exhaust gas into the screen member.
