    Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil jet structure for cooling cylinder is provided for cooling cylinder by injecting lubricant by oil jet plunger depending on temperature of a cylinder liner. CONSTITUTION: An oil jet injects oil to a piston supplied from an oil pump to an oil gallery. A temperature sensor(31) is formed on upper part of a cylinder liner(11), which guides reciprocating movement of a piston(13). A temperature sensed by the temperature sensor(31) is compared with a set temperature by a controller(30). The controller(30) controls an amount of the injected oil. A solenoid(26) operates by the controller(30). A moving range of a plunger(27) is varied stepwise by the operation of the solenoid(26). Thereby, controlled amount of the oil is injected by an oil jet(20) to the lower part of the piston(13).
