    Abstract: Preparation of hydroxy-alkyl substd. amino-alkyne derivatives of formula R1-C IDENTICAL C-CR2R3-NR4R5 (I) is claimed in reaction by the heterogeneously catalysed reaction of an alkyne of formula R1-C IDENTICAL CH (II), a carbonyl compound of formula O=CR2R3 (III) and an amine of formula H-NR4R5 (IV). R1 = H, alkyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkyl or hydroxyalkyl; R2, R3 = H, alkyl, haloalkyl, aryl or alkoxy; R4, R5 = H, alkyl, haloalkyl, aryl, alkoxy or hydroxyalkyl; or NR4R5 = a 5-6 membered heterocyclic ring; providing that at least one of R1, R4 and R5 = hydroxyalkyl.
