    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the production of cyclopentene-oligomer mixtures of formula (I), characterized in that a hydrocarbon mixture containing acyclic monoolefins from an oil refining cracking process (C5-cut) and cyclopentene are transformed in a homogenous or heterogeneous catalyzed metathesis reaction.     Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing carboxylic acids or their esters from olefins and carbon monoxide in the presence of water or alcohols at temperatures of between 100 and 270 DEG C and pressure of between 30 and 100 bar.
