    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound in a high yield by the reaction of an alkyne with a carbonyl compound and an amine in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst. SOLUTION: This compound, a hydroxyalkyl-substituted aminoalkyne of formula IV [e.g. 3-(di-2-hydroxyethylamino)propyne], is obtained by reaction of an alkyne of formula I (R1 is H, an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, etc.) with a carbonyl compound of formula II (R2 and R3 are each H, an alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, etc..) and an amine of formula III (R4 and R5 are each H, an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, etc., or joined together with a bound N atom to form a five- or six-membered ring) in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst such as an acetylated copper catalyst carried on a bismuth-doped silicate support. By virtue of this method, the objective desired aminoalkyne can be obtained in high yield without the need of any special means for pH adjustment.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a vinylsilane by which a high conversion rate accompanied with a high selectivity can be achieved with an ultrahigh space time yield. SOLUTION: A silane is added to a liquid phase containing an acetylenic hydrocarbon and a catalyst in the method for preparing the vinylsilane comprising reacting the acetylenic hydrocarbon with the silane having at least one silicon-bound hydrogen atom in the presence of a catalyst in the liquid phase. In particular, the reaction is carried out under a superatomic pressure and the spent acetylenic hydrocarbon is replenished during the reaction so as to maintain a pressure which is constant during the entire reaction. As a specific example, acetylene is reacted with trimethoxysilane in the presence of a tetramethyldivinyldisiloxaneplatinum solution in xylene as the catalyst in the xylene liquid phase to produce trimethoxyvinylsilane in high yield.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound under low pressure by using a catalyst containing metal compounds of a first and a second subgroup elements and gaseous C2 H2 , etc., when carrying out the reaction of an alkyd with a 1-oxa-3- azaheterocycloalkane. SOLUTION: An N-hydroxyalkyl substituted aminoalkyne expressed by formula II is manufactured by reacting a mixture of a compound expressed by the formula R -C≡C-H(R is H, an alkyl, etc.) and a compound expressed by formula I (R , R are each H, an alkyl, etc.; A is a 2-5 alkylene) in the presence of a catalyst containing a metal compound of a first subgroup elements under a heterogeneous catalytic system. A suitable catalyst contains a complex of copper acetylide and Bi compound, for example, (BiO)2 CO3 , etc., the preferable catalyst contains about 40-70wt.% of Cu and about 0.1-10% of Bi. The reaction is carried out in a reactor such as a tubular reactor, etc., provided with a stirrer, generally at 0-200 deg.C, preferably at 20-120 deg.C, especially preferably at 40-120 deg.C.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject alkyne diol by allowing a specific compound to react with acetylene in the presence of a basic alkali metal salt as a catalyst in a polar aprotic solvent in need of a trace or catalytic amount of base. SOLUTION: (A) A compound of the formula: R1-C(=O)-R2 [R1 and R2 are each H, a 1-20C hydrocarbon (which may bear a C-C double or triple bond that is interrupted with a substituted and nonadjacent hetero atom)] and (B) acetylene are allowed to react with each other in the presence of (C) a catalyst of a basic alkali metal salt in an amount of 5-65 mol.% based on the component B in (D) a polar aprotic solvent (for example, tetrahydrofuran) under a pressure of 0.1-10 bar at -20-60 deg.C to give an objective compound represented by the formula: R1R2C(OH)-C≡C-C(OH)R1R2. As the component C, is preferably cited an alkali metal alkoxide (for example, potassium alkoxide).
