Abstract: Método de ensayo para analizar un líquido corporal, en concreto para medir el contenido de azúcar en lasangre, que consiste en introducir una cinta de ensayo (14) - preferiblemente en forma de un casete de cinta (12) -en un aparato analizador (10), a fin de exponer sucesivamente mediante el avance de la cinta (14) una serie dezonas de ensayo analíticas (32) dispuestas sobre la cinta, de manera que un usuario aplica el líquido corporal (52)sobre la respectiva zona de ensayo (32) expuesta y una unidad de medición (18) contenida en el aparato explorafotométricamente la muestra durante el tiempo que dura la medición y registra las señales captadas, caracterizadoporque las señales de medición se captan a dos longitudes de onda distintas, porque se calcula un valor de control apartir de una diferencia de señal entre las dos mediciones de distinta longitud de onda, que se genera al humectar lazona de ensayo (32) con el líquido corporal, y porque las señales de medición se desechan como erróneas siquedan por debajo de un valor umbral determinado del valor de control.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method and a device for determining sample application on an analytical test element in a photometric reflectance measuring device (10) specifically for glucose measurements, where the following measures are proposed: providing a disposable test element (12) for application of a body fluid sample, taking a sequence of reflectance readings from the test element (12), monitoring a change of the reflectance readings with respect to a sample application condition, adjusting the sample application condition in accordance with a drift correction. A value for drift correction of the reflectance readings caused by ambient measurement conditions, specifically, humidity, temperature, or UV radiation can be considered in a predefined signal decrease or in a predefined signal threshold for adjusting the sample application condition.
