Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate both a machine vertical vibration being transmitted from a compression element to a hermetic container and a coil-spring scraping noise thereof in a suction path wherein the coil spring connects a suction muffler and a suction tube, by the suction muffler being fixed to the compression element. SOLUTION: This hermetic compressor comprises a suction tube 13 passing through a sealed container 1, a suction muffler fixed to a compression element 6, a connection tube 17 connected to the suction muffler, and a coil spring 16 connecting the suction tube 13 and the connection tube 17, and an insertion tube is connected thereto by being inserted into the connection tube 17 and an entrance hole 14a in the suction muffler, and this insertion tube is formed of a metallic bellows 18.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce transmission sound in a suction muffler so as to improve the silencing effect of the muffler, by forming the suction muffler fixed to a compression element of refrigerant-resistant and oil-resistant vibration-damping iron plate, in a hermetic compressor provided with an electrically driven element and a compressive element elastically supported in a sealed container. SOLUTION: An electrically driving element 2 is started and a crank shaft 6 rotates, a piston 9 makes its reciprocating motion in a cylinder 8 via its eccentric part 11 and connecting rod 10, thereby refrigerant gas enters the cylinder 8 from a suction muffler 20 so as to be sucked compressed and discharged. In such a hermetic compressor, a suction muffler 20 for forming a silencer fixed to a compression element is formed of refrigerant-resistant and oil-resistant vibration-damping iron plate. Thereby, the vibration of the pulsative sound of refrigerant gas from a cylinder 8 generated during suction stoke is absorbed in the vibration-damping iron plate so as to exhibit its silencer effect. In addition, the suction muffler 20 is formed of synthetic resin or the like and may be covered by a muffler cover formed in compliance with the outer peripheral configuration of the suction muffler 20.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce a compressor noise by providing a shell, a motor-driven element at an upper position therein, a compression element with a cylinder at a lower position, and refrigerator oil accumulated on a bottom section within the shell. CONSTITUTION: A motor-driven element 11 laid at an upper position in a shell 10 and a compression element laid at a lower position are jointed to each other via a crankshaft 13 in a compressor. an oil pump 14 is mounted on the lower end of the crankshaft 13. In addition, an oil capillary 15 for feeding a small amount of oil to the element 12 and the oil pump 14 have forward ends submerged in refrigerator oil 16 accumulated in the shell 10. furthermore, the cylinder 18 of the element 12 is positioned above the level of the oil 16 accumulated on a bottom section in the shell 10. According to this construction, a vibration transmitted from the cylinder 18 to the shell 10 via the oil 16 can be interrupted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower the overall height of a refrigerant compressor by arranging an insulating material which is given drawing between coils of an electric element and a metal part of a compression element. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material 10 which is given drawing is arranged between an electric element 2 elastically supported in a closed container 1 and a compression element 3 and coils 5 and 6 of the electric element 2 and a metal part 9 of the compression element 3. This insulating material 10 is a polyester film which is given drawing. As this polyester film 10 is given drawing, it has elasticity and the insulating material is not dislocated or removed during operation of a refrigerant compressor. In the compressor so constituted, the dimension of a clearance between the coil 5 of the electric element 2 and the metal part 9 of the compression element 3 should be only the thickness of the polyester 10. By this, the overall height of the compressor can be lowered than before.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent any insulation failure in a conductive pin connecting part by covering the connecting part between a conductive pin and a lead wire and an insulating member with insulable resin with heat resistance, and making this resin stick fast to an inner surface of a metallic outer ring. CONSTITUTION:A feeding terminal 3 is installed in an opening 2 installed in a part of a hermetically sealed vessel 1. This feeding terminal 3 is provided with a metallic outer ring 6 being fitted in the opening 2 and a conductive pin being supported by this metallic outer ring 6 via a glass sealing part 5, and connected to a lead wire 9 out of an inner part of the hermetically sealed vessel 1. Here, a connecting part between the conductive pin 4 and the lead wire 9 and the glass sealing part 5 are covered with heat resisting insulating rubber 11. Then, this insulating rubber 11 is stuck close to an inner surface of the metallic outer ring 6. With this constitution, any possible insulating failure in the connecting part 4a of the conductive pin 4 is thus preventable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress electromagnetic noise regardless of variation of motor load due to variation of pressure in a compression chamber by integrally forming semi-closed grooves in a rotor while arranging even number of entan gling parts having V-type inner cross section with equal pitch. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 3 is provided with semi-closed grooves 3a and semi- closed openings 3b. Core plates 3c having even number of entangling parts 25 having V-type cross section arranged with same pitch and same number of semi-punched grooves 26 arranged with half pitch difference with respect to the entangling part 25 are laminated sequentially. When higher harmonic magnetromotive force of the stator 2 flows on the surface of the rotor 3, mag netic resistance at the opening 3b of the rotor 3 increases considerably as com pared with that at the core part thus increasing the magnetic resistance of the magnetic circuit and suppressing higher harmonics. By such arrangement, a rotary compressor where electromagnetic noise is reduced can be realized.
