Abstract: Film comprises a light-transmissible smooth base film having, formed on one side, a light transmissible resin coating layer which has 50-10,000 convex projections per square cm. The half-value width (b) of each projection is in a range of 5 to 300 times the height (a) of the vertex of the projection. Height (a) is in the range of 1-10 microns. Also claimed is a dry planographic printing plate comprising in order a base substrate, a photosensitive layer, a silicone rubber layer and the above cover film, where the cover film is laminated to the silicone rubber layer with the other smooth side of the base film contacting the upper surface of the rubber layer.

Abstract: 1,180,403. Antistatic polyamide compositions. TOYO RAYON K.K. 9 Feb., 1967 [11 Feb., 1966], No. 6309/67. Heading C3R. Polyamides are rendered antistatic by incorporating therein a block polyether-polyamide made up of polyether blocks containing at least 45 O atoms and polyamide blocks derivable from a C 6 or higher lactam or a diamine and a C 6 or higher dicarboxylic acid in an amount providing 0À1 to 20 wt. per cent polyether segments in the final composition. Various polyamide monomers for the main and block polymers are specified. Mention is also made of other polymers which may be blended with or provide copolymer units in the polymers. The block copolymers may be prepared by producing the polyamide from its monomers in the presence of an amino or carboxyl terminated polyether or by reacting preformed polymer having terminal amino and carboxyl groups. In Example 1 polyethyleneglycol is cyanoethylated and hydrogenated to obtain an amino-terminated polyether while in Example 4 the cyanoethylated polyether is hydrolysed to give terminal carboxyl groups. In Example 5 a polyether C 4 H 9 O(C 2 H 4 O) n H was chlorinated with thionyl chloride and reacted with sodamide to give NH 2 at one end, the product being block copolymerized with nylon 6. Blends according to the invention are melt shaped into fibres, films and pipes. Optional ingredients mentioned are viscosity stabilizers, delustrants, heat and light stabilizers, dyes, pigments, plasticizers, fillers, polyesters, polyethers, polyureas, polyurethanes and polyimides.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To bring a rotation body come into contact with an arbitrary surface of paper without making the ink applied surface dirty to improve printed paper carrying properties, by a method wherein the rotation body for feeding the printed paper is rotated as the printed paper is fed, and that surface portion of the rotation body which is brought into contact with the paper is provided with an ink repellent silicone layer. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 2 is made of rubber, metal, plastic, etc. or a composite of these materials, and a silicone layer 3 formed at the portion coming into contact with a printed paper is made to be at least 10mum thick and is coated with a printer layer to improve an adhesion. A rotation body 1 is preferably shaped to have an approximately 5-100mm diameter and a nearly 50mm or less width, and its surface which comes into contact with the paper is formed to be a curved surface, however, it is allowed to have a slight irregularity or a plane surface. An ink repellent silicone in use is a silicone elastomer which is prepared by adding a crosslinking agent or catalyst, if necessary, with a linear organopolysiloxane for curing. Ink stainability of the rotation body is remarkably improved by incorporating therewith 25-50wt% of silicone oil for enhancing the resistance to ink set-off and ink stain.
