PURPOSE: A method for amplifying sulforaphane content of broccolis through an extra-high voltage process is provided to produce functional foods containing sulforaphane as an active component. CONSTITUTION: A method for amplifying sulforaphane content of broccolis comprises an extra-high voltage process. The extra-high voltage process is performed at 200 ~ 600 Mpa. The extra-high voltage process is performed for 5 ~ 30 minutes. The sulforaphane is formed by the enzymatic reaction of glucosinolate included in the broccoli. The enzyme is myrosinase.

An extract of Dracocephalum foetidum is provided to show antibacterial activity against bacteria and fungi on the skin surface, bacteria causing food decay and food poisoning, Streptococcus mutans and anti-biotics resistant bacteria, thereby being usefully used as an antibacterial composition for sterilizing the skin surface, preventing the food decay, food poisoning and periodental diseases and as a natural antibacterial agent for a filter of an air cleaning article without side effect. An antibacterial composition comprises a refined oil ingredient of Dracocephalum foetidum, which is obtained by extracting dried Dracocephalum foetidum through distillation to obtain an extract, cooling down the extract and then isolating a refined oil fraction of an upper layer therefrom. The composition is a skin external application composition, a cosmetic composition, or an oral composition. An air cleaning article comprises the extract of Dracocephalum foetidum as an effective ingredient. Further, the composition as a skin external application composition is in a form of solution, spray, patch, pad, cream, ointment and gel.

PURPOSE: A processing method for sea cucumber byproducts is provided to have excellent industrial availability by utilizing water which is generated in a sea cucumber boiling process and discarded in a conventional method. CONSTITUTION: A processing method for sea cucumber water generated in a sea cucumber boiling process includes a step of obtaining butanol fractions by adding butanol in sea cucumber water generated in a sea cucumber boiling process. The sea cucumber water is the dry material of sea cucumber water. The processing method includes a step of obtaining butanol fractions by adding butanol in sea cucumber water after water is added in the dry material of sea cucumber. The processing method adds 10-30g of the dry material of sea cucumber water about 1L of water.

PURPOSE: A post-harvest enhancement method of active compounds of brassicaceae vegetables, and the treated brassicaceae vegetables are provided to effectively enhance active decomposition product content of glucosinolate of the brassicaceae vegetables. CONSTITUTION: A post-harvest enhancement method of active compounds of brassicaceae vegetables uses a high hydrostatic pressure treatment, for increasing the active decomposition product content of glucosinolate. An active decomposition product of the glucosinolate is sulforaphane. The pressure applied to the brassicaceae vegetables during the high hydrostatic pressure treatment is 100~1,000Mpa.
