Abstract: PURPOSE: An electro-optical circuit board comprising an integrated optical transceiver module and optical waveguide is provided to minimize an alignment error between a light source part/a light detection part and an optical waveguide. CONSTITUTION: An electric circuit is formed on an optical transceiver module(30,40,50,60)and a number of electric circuit chips are embedded on a number of daughter boards(10a,10b,10c). An electric circuit is formed on a mother board(20) connected to the daughter boards. An electric signal being output from an electric circuit chip of one daughter board is converted into an optical signal through the optical transceiver module and then it is transmitted to an optical waveguide(21) of the mother board and it is transferred to an optical receiver module through an optical waveguide of another daughter board.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for fabricating an optical access device are provided to prevent a variation of a gap between optical fiber holes by inserting plural fine pins into plural cylindrical grooves of a slide core to fix the fine pins. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fabricating an optical access device includes a moving member(408), a slide core portion(410), a slide core(104), a core mold(108), a recovery member(416), and an upper mold(402). The moving member(408) is installed at one side of an upper surface of a lower mold(404). The slide core portion(410) is installed on an upper surface of the moving member(408). The slide core portion(410) includes an incline plane to move the slide core(104). The slide core(104) is located on an upper surface of the slide core portion(410). The slide core(104) includes a plurality of fine pins(102). The core mold(108) includes a plurality of cylindrical grooves and an opening portion. The fine pins(102) are inserted into the cylindrical grooves of the core mold(108). The recovery member(416) provides the restoring force when the slide core portion(410) is moved. The upper mold(402) is used for covering the core mold(108). The upper mold(402) includes an incline plane to move the slide core(104).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A die of optical fiber coupling apparatus and method of making the optical fiber coupling apparatus using the same is provided to be capable of mass-producing with a low cost by shaping a coupling apparatus made of high molecular resin in bulk. CONSTITUTION: A V-groove die structure(400) has upper and lower dies(410,420) where a plurality of grooves(412,422) for inserting optical fibers and grooves(414,424) for inserting a guide pin are formed. A metal member(430) is placed between the upper and lower dies in order to maintain an interval between columns of grooves where the optical fibers are inserted. A fine-pin die structure has a plurality of core pins coupled with the slide core. The V-groove die structure is coupled with the fine-pin die structure so that the core pin is inserted in a plurality of grooves formed by coupling of the upper and lower dies.

Abstract: Disclosed is a photomixer which basically solves a present lamination element in a photomixer and a PCA which is a core part of an existing broadband tera hertz spectroscopy. The photomixer includes an active layer which is formed on the upper surface of a substrate and formed in one region where light enters, and a thermal conductive layer which is formed on the upper surface of a substrate and is formed in the other region.
