Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a composition for the prevention and extermination of powdery mildew in cucumbers and strawberries. And the agricultural chemicals containing the same are also provided, which are effective on powdery mildew without causing the environmental contamination. CONSTITUTION: The composition for the prevention and extermination of powdery mildew contains an effective amount of nonionic surfactants selected from C10 - C12 alcohol ethoxylate having 4 to 9 additional moles of ethylene oxide and rauryl alcohol ethoxylate having 4 to 9 additional moles of ethylene oxide and carriers. Wherein the amount of nonionic surfactants is 1 to 90 wt.% and carriers are water-blended organic solvents, natural or synthetic minerals, natural polymers or synthetic polymers. The composition also contains active materials having prevention effects on powdery mildew, wherein the active materials are dodecylbenzensulfonate bis-ethylenediamine copper(II) salts(DBEDC).

Abstract: PURPOSE: The isooxazolidine derivatives, their preparation process, and a bactericidal composition containing the same are provided. The composition has a strong bactericidal activity and is useful in the treatment of the powdery mildew in plants. The isooxazolidine derivatives of formula (1) are prepared by condensation of a compound of formula (2) and a compound of formula (3) in the presence of base.
