Abstract: A pipe type adaptive vent hole of a side airbag is provided to reduce injury on passenger by adjusting pressure of a side airbag according to the physique of a passenger and adjust the size of a vent hole easily. A side airbag comprises a side air bag cushion(10) having a vent hole(11) in the top; and a gas control member(12) installed at a vent hole. The gas control member controls the pressure of the side airbag cushion because the vent hole is opened or closed by shoulder. The vent hole is formed on the place in which faces the shoulder of big-size passenger and the part above the shoulder of small-size passenger. The gas control member comprises an upper fixing part fixed on the top of the vent hole of the airbag cushion; a gas guide portion, and a lower fixing part fixed to the lower part of the vent hole of the airbag cushion.

Abstract: A roll over protection system for a vehicle is provided to protect a passenger by preventing a protective bar from being rotated by forces applied from an external source in the case of occurrence of roll over of the vehicle. A roll over protection system for a vehicle, includes a box(300), a pair of rotatable gears(310), a support rod(330), a protective bar(340), a rotatable spring(350), and a stopper(360). The box is built into a seat back(200) of the vehicle. The rotatable gears are geared into the box such that the gears are rotatable about a rotary shaft(320). The support rod is arranged along an outer circumference of the rotary shaft. The protective bar is arranged at one end of the support rod so as to protect the head part of a passenger. The rotatable spring elastically supports the rotary shaft. The stopper prevents the rotary shaft from rotating.
