Abstract: A clutch for a constant velocity joint is provided to insulate vibration caused by explosion of a power train by forming a clutch structure integrally with a stem portion of the joint through a brake hydraulic pressure. A clutch for a constant velocity joint comprises as follows. A driving stem group(11) is connected integrally to a driving shaft of a transmission by separating a stem portion of a joint housing of a velocity joint. A driven stem group(13) is connected integrally to the joint housing, and a spline gear teeth is formed on its outer circumferential surface. A clutch case(15) is installed to maintain sealing by interposing bearings respectively between one side of the driving and driven stem groups. A clutch gear(9) is engaged with each of spline gear teeth of the driving and driven stem groups. In addition, a return spring(17) supplies restore force to the clutch gear to transmit power by enabling the clutch gear to engage spline gear teeth of the driving and driven stem groups.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A speed sensing power steering system in a vehicle is provided to give proper steering feeling to a driver in proportional to vehicle speed by increasing and decreasing steering torque with simple machine configuration. CONSTITUTION: A speed sensing power steering system in a vehicle comprises a vacuum pump(20) and an anti-rotation device(40). The vacuum pump is driven by a drive shaft(11). The anti-rotation device constrains a steering column(2) from rotating by contacting and rubbing a movable disk(42) fixed to the steering column to a fixed disk(43) after receiving negative pressure of the vacuum pump through a hose(30). Therefore, a steering wheel is handled conveniently with small force in low-speed traveling by setting auxiliary steering force of the power steering device as a high mode. A driver handles the steering wheel in proper weighty feeling in high-speed traveling by the anti-rotation device.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A parking brake system for a vehicle is provided not to lower braking ability not by using tension of a cable and friction between friction materials and not to reduce a room of the vehicle not by installing a parking brake lever. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake system for a vehicle includes a clutch gear(20); a fork(30); a pneumatic cylinder(40); a solenoid valve(60) and a control unit(80). The clutch gear is fixed to a drive shaft(10). The fork is geared to the clutch gear to restrict rotation of the clutch gear. The pneumatic cylinder is fixed to a vehicle body and operated by negative pressure generated from an inlet manifold(50) to separate the fork and the clutch gear in traveling and mesh the fork and the clutch gear in stop. The solenoid valve transmits negative pressure to the pneumatic cylinder from the inlet manifold. The control unit opens the solenoid valve when an open angle of a throttle valve is higher than an idle angle. Thereby, reduction of brake power is prevented by maintaining a stop with geared members not by tension of a cable and friction of a friction material. An installation of a parking brake is unnecessary by operating the parking brake with negative pressure of the inlet manifold.
