Abstract:
An electronic device performs techniques related to implementing biometric authentication, including providing user interfaces for: providing indications of error conditions during biometric authentication, providing indications about the biometric sensor during biometric authentication, orienting the device to enroll a biometric feature, and providing an indication of the location of the biometric sensor to correct a detected error condition.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates generally to implementing biometric authentication, including providing user interfaces for: a biometric enrollment process tutorial, aligning a biometric feature for enrollment, enrolling a biometric feature, providing hints during a biometric enrollment process, application-based biometric authentication, autofilling biometrically secured fields, unlocking a device using biometric authentication, retrying biometric authentication, managing transfers using biometric authentication, interstitial user interfaces during biometric authentication, preventing retrying biometric authentication, cached biometric authentication, autofilling fillable fields based on visibility criteria, automatic log-in using biometric authentication, retrying biometric authentication at a credential entry user interface, providing indications of error conditions during biometric authentication, providing indications about the biometric sensor during biometric authentication, and orienting the device to enroll a biometric feature.
Abstract:
An electronic device presents a user interface including an output property that represents a first type of output. The device detects a first input associated with modifying the first type of output via a first behavior model, and changes the output property over time based on the first behavior model and updates the user interface based on the changes in the output property. While updating the user interface, the device detects a change to the user input; and changes the output property over time based on a second behavior model based on: a value of the output property determined based on the first behavior model; and a first derivative of the value of the output property with respect to time determined based on the first behavior model. The device updates the user interface based on the changes in the output property that occur based on the second behavior model.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a user interface of an application. The device detects a first portion of an input including a contact on the touch-sensitive surface, and then detects a second portion of the input including movement of the contact across the touch-sensitive surface. The device displays, during the movement, application views including an application view that corresponds to the user interface of the application and another application view that corresponds to a different user interface of a different application. The device then detects a third portion of the input, including a liftoff of the contact from the touch-sensitive surface. In response, the device, upon determining that application-switcher-display criteria are met, displays an application-switcher user interface, and upon determining that home-display criteria are met, the device displays a home screen user interface that includes application launch icons.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to viewing and updating application views. A device receives a user input, the input, when received initiating display of a plurality of application views of a set of application views. The device, in response to receiving the user input, displays the plurality of application views of the set of application views, wherein the set of application views includes preselected application views and an adaptive view that corresponds to a most recently opened application that is not one of the preselected application views.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for managing connections of user devices. For example, two source devices may be configured to maintain a data stream with one another. The data stream may enable the two source devices to identify one or more connections between each other and at least a third device. In response to receiving an event that indicates content to be provided to the third device, the data stream may be used by the source devices to configure their network connections with the third device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to user interfaces for manipulating user interface objects. A device, including a display and a rotatable input mechanism, is described in relation to manipulating user interface objects. In some examples, the manipulation of the object is a scroll, zoom, or rotate of the object. In other examples, objects are selected in accordance with simulated magnetic properties.

Abstract:
Apparatus and methods to communicate audio data from either an active wireless device or a requesting wireless device to one or more audio reproduction devices that are simultaneously communicatively coupled to both the active wireless device and to the requesting wireless device are disclosed. Responsive to a request from the requesting wireless device to transmit audio data to the one or more audio reproduction devices, the active wireless device determines whether to transmit audio data from the requesting wireless device based at least in part on an audio status of the active wireless device and a set of predetermined arbitration criteria that prioritizes among applications and operating system processes that generate the audio data.
