    Abstract: The invention relates to compounds comprising isocyanate groups or capped isocyanate groups, allophanate groups and radically polymerizable C-C double covalent bonds, whereby the C-C double covalent bonds are activated by a carbonyl group bonded directly thereon or by an O-atom in ether function (activated double covalent bonds), derived from polyisocyanates and alcohols A which, in addition to the alcohol group, carry another activated double covalent bond (compounds (I)). The invention also relates to radiation-hardenable preparations and coating agents which contain compounds (I), to methods for coating while using these substances, and to coated articles produced according to these methods. The invention additionally relates to the use of compounds (I) in radiation-hardenable materials such as in casting materials, dental materials, composite materials, sealants, adhesives, fillers, printing inks, in photostructurable materials such as solder resists, photoresists, photopolymeric printing plates, and stereolithographic resins.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a bonding agent, preferably for a lacquer, which may be hardened by high-energy radiation and/or thermally and which contains a mixture of substances (a) having a monomer or polymer component including at least one vinyl ether, vinyl ester, (meth)acrylic and/or allyl group, and (b) containing saturated and/or unsaturated polymers different from component (a) as additional component, with the proviso that at least one of components (a), (b) contains structural units of general formulae (I) and/or (II) and the additional component (b) contains structural units of general formulae (I) and/or (II) at least when said component contains saturated polymers. The invention also relates to a method for the production of the bonding agent and a preparation containing the bonding agent according to the invention. Said preparation is obtained in the form of a pigmented or non-pigmented lacquer or a powder lacquer. The invention also relates to a working method for the production of lacquer coatings, wherein after application, said coatings are hardened thermally and/or by radiation with UV light or electron beams.

    Abstract: A curable polyurethane polymer comprises a hydroxyl group containing prepolymer, a compound having a hydroxyl group and/or prim. or sec. amine group and a compound having at least 2 isocyanate groups and/or their salts whereby the ratio of isocyanate group equivalents to isocyanate reactive groups is 0.4:1-0.9:1. A curable polyurethane polymer (I) comprises: (A) 10-60 wt.% of a hydroxyl group containing prepolymer having at least a thermally or photochemically polymerizable alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated double bond (B) 0.1-30 wt.% of a compound having a hydroxyl group and/or prim. or sec. amine group that is reactive towards an isocyanate group and having at least one polar functional group per molecule; (C) 0.1-30 wt.% of a diamine and/or polyamine; (D) 0-10 wt.% of a compound, different to (A), (B), (C) and (E) having at least 2 isocyanate reactive groups and containing hydroxyl and/or prim. and/or sec. amine groups; (E) 0-20 wt.% of a compound having one isocyanate reactive group; (F) 10-65 wt.% of a compound having at least 2 isocyanate groups and/or their salts whereby the ratio of isocyanate group equivalents in (F) to isocyanate reactive groups is (A)-(E) is 0.4:1-0.9:1. Independent claims are included for: (i) a polymer dispersion containing (I); and (ii) a coating agent containing (I).
