    Abstract: PURPOSE: A floodgate indicator is provided to freely and differently set the full-open position of a floodgate through the cam which is elastically supported on the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: A floodgate indicator comprises a connection shaft, a rotary shaft(14), a limit switch, a drive motor, and a cam(17). The connection shaft is coupled with the drive shaft of a winch. The rotary shaft is engaged with the connection shaft and has an indication pointer on an end passing through a scale board mounting unit. A limit control bar is provided on scale bard mounting unit to indicate the full-open position of the floodgate. The cam is installed on the rotary shaft and drives the limit switch to stop the driver motor at the full-open and full-close positions of a floodgate. The cam is fitted to a fixing member(19) on the rotary shaft and elastically supported with a plate spring(20).
