Abstract:
PURPOSE: Provided are gene encoding for a transcription factor which regulates the expression of defense related genes in rice and method for inducing the systemic acquired resistance by using this gene. In particular, provided is Oryza sativa ethylene response element binding protein(OsEREBP), a transcription factor which regulates the expression of defense related genes in rice. CONSTITUTION: The method of selecting OsEREBP comprises: treating the known systemic acquired resistance inducer, benzo-1,2,3-thiadiazole-7-carbothioic acid-S-methyl ether (BTH) to produce mRNA which is related to induction of systemic acquired resistance; transcribing the mRNA to obtain cDNA clone by using a transcriptase; selecting cDNA clone capable of being amplified by BTH treatment using the cDNA as a probe; and confirming a OsEREBP by analyzing nucleotide sequence and homology of cDNA clone. The nucleotide sequence of OsEREBP is represented by SEQ ID NO:1.

PURPOSE: Staphylococcus pasteuri RSP-1 which suppresses growth of harmful bacteria, especially antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus RSP-1 is provided to reduce loss of agricultural products, and to effectively control antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: Staphylococcus pasteuri RSP-1(KACC 91660P) is provided. Probiotics contains the strain, a culture liquid or culture thereof, or antagonist isolated from the culture liquid or the culture. A method for isolating the antagonist from the strain comprises: a step of culturing the strain and centrifuging to collect a culture supernatant; a step of adding hydrophobic resin to the supernatant and adsorbing at 20-25 deg. C for 6-10 hours; a step of removing the unabsorbed residual supernatant and washing; a step of diluting with 70% 2-propanol containing 0.1% TFA; and a step of distilling diluted liquid, suspending in Tris-Cl buffer(pH 6-9) and isolating antagonist.

본 발명은 박테리오파지 PPP1을 포함하는 채소 무름병 방제 제제에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 박테리오파지 PPP1은 신선채소의 무름병에 방제 효과가 있어 채소의 무름병 방제를 위한 미생물 농약으로 활용될 수 있고, 항생제 대신 사용될 수 있으므로, 항생제 내성균 출현 가능성을 감소시키고, 환경 안전성을 높일 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A formulation containing bacteriophage PPP1 for preventing vegetable soft rot is provided to be used as a pesticide of microorganism and to enhance environmental safety. CONSTITUTION: A formulation for preventing vegetable soft rot contains bacteriophage PPP1(KACC97005) as an active ingredient. The vegetable is Chinese cabbage or lettuce. The vegetable soft rot is caused by Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. Carotovorum. An agent for suppressing Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. Carotovorum contains the bacteriophage PPP1 as an active ingredient.

CONSTITUTION: A Pectobacterium carotovorum Pcc21-M15(KACC91406) has bacteriocin activity. A gene encoding protein of sequence number 2 having bacteriocin activity has sequence of sequence number 1. A formulation for preventing bacterial soft rot contains Pectobacterium carotovorum Pcc21-M15 as an active ingredient. The formulation for preventing bacterial soft rot contains the protein having bacteriocin activity as an active ingredient. The formulation for preventing bacterial soft rot contains transformant transformed with the gene encoding the protein.
