PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent is provided to have excellent vertical light orientation, excellent printability, electric performance, and optical performance, thereby providing a liquid crystal orientation film with excellent vertical orientation. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent includes at least one polymer selected from polyamic acids including a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 1, and polyimides including a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 2. In the chemical formulas, each of X^1 and X^2 a tetravalent organic group derived from aliphatic anhydride or aromatic anhydride. Each of Y^1 and Y^2 is a divalent organic group derived from diamines. The diamines includes photodiamine represented by chemical formula 3 and at least one functional diamine selected from compounds represented by chemical formula 5-1 - 5-4.
