Abstract: Disclosed are a translating apparatus and method using location information and profiling information, capable of automatically setting the domain information of an automatic translation system based on the location information of a portable terminal. The disclosed translating apparatus using the location information and the profiling information includes: a location information collecting unit which collects the location information corresponding to the current location of a user; a personal information collecting unit which collects the personal information of the user based on the information used on the portable terminal; and a translating unit which sets the domain information based on the location information from the location information collecting unit and performs translation based on the domain information and the personal information from the personal information collecting unit. Abstract: The present invention relates to a translation interface device using the gaze tracking. It comprises a gaze tracking unit of which when a portable terminal from the image inputted through a camera to track the user's eyes, the time information of the eyes of the user maintained for a certain period of time, and the position information of the eyes when focusing a certain area are tracked, a comparison unit wherein the predetermined time information and the time information detected by the gaze tracking unit are compared, a sentence detecting unit where the comparison result of when the time information is greater than the eyes holding time, it detects the sentence according to the location information of the result, a sentence translation unit where it extracts the sentence to translate, and a sentence outputting unit where the translated sentence is displayed on the screen of the portable terminal. Abstract: 본 발명은 문서정보 학습기반 통계적 HMM 품사 태깅 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 입력되는 문서에 따라 달라지는 문맥 확률, 어휘 확률과 태깅 오류 수정 규칙을 실시간으로 추출하여 품사 태깅하고자 하는 입력 문서의 장르와 도메인에 의존적인 확률 정보와 수정 규칙 등을 추출할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명은 기학습된 코퍼스에서 나타나지 않는 다양한 장르나 도메인의 문서에 대해서도 실시간으로 입력 문서에서 학습된 정보를 사용함으로써, 다양한 장르나 도메인의 문서에 대한 태깅 정확성을 높일 수 있으며, 문서에 대한 언어적 분석을 필요로 하는 자동번역 및 정보검색 등의 시스템에서 언어분석 정확도를 향상시켜 전체 번역 성능 및 정확성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Abstract: 본 발명은 자동번역을 위한 번역메모리 적용 방법 및 그 장치에 관한 것으로, 형태소 분석을 거친 원문에 대하여 번역메모리 확장 규칙들을 통해 확장시킨 번역메모리 매칭 확장 형태의 확장 원문과 이 확장 원문에 대응하는 번역문을 확장 번역 메모리 DB에 저장한 다음에, 형태소 분석 및 해당 번역메모리 확장 규칙을 통해 확장시킨 번역메모리 매칭 확장 형태의 입력문장을 확장 번역 메모리 DB에 저장된 확장 원문들과의 매칭으로 자동번역을 수행함으로써, 추가적으로 번역메모리 문장을 구축하지 않고도 동일한 크기의 번역메모리 문장만을 이용하더라도 번역메모리 커버리지를 넓힐 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명은 자동번역을 위한 번역메모리 적용 방법 및 그 장치를 제공함으로써 자동 번역 시스템의 핵심 요구사항인 번역품질 향상을 이룰 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A translation error after-treatment correcting method and device using a factored language model are provided to proceed translation of high quality by recognizing and correcting automatically an error of the final translation sentence which a machine translation system translates. CONSTITUTION: A factored language model is constructed from a target word corpus(S202). A reliability value of a word is calculated on the basis on the factored language model about an error pattern of words shown in a translation sentence(S204). If a reliability value of the word is less than a threshold, the word is recognized as an error. A candidate corrected word about the error is generated(S208). A reliability value of the word about the candidate corrected word is calculated. A word which the reliability value of the word is the maximum value is selected as a corrected word(S210).
